While in South Africa the white capitalists have remained the ruling class despite the fact that the corrupted ANC is the government, the solution in the case of Israel is more likely similar to the one that took place in Algeria, unless the Israeli Jews will break with Zionism. We still hope that a section of the Israeli Jews will break with Zionism and remain a minority with equal civil rights when the Zionist state will be destroyed, but this requires a true break with Zionism.
While a growing number of Jews outside Israel oppose Israel, the number of Jews that support the mass killing of the Palestinians is almost the total number of the Jews in Israel.
“The Bafrayung Fund, headed by Rachel Gelman, has been found to be one of the main financial backers of the Westchester Peace Action Committee (WESPAC), which supported anti-Israel groups across US campuses, according to a recent report published by the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP.)”[i]
Rachel Gelman, head of the Bafrayung Fund, is the daughter of Susie Gelman, who has chaired the Israel Policy Forum in the past and was once considered by US President Joe Biden as a candidate to be ambassador to Israel.”[ii]
On the other hand:
“A study published Thursday by the Pew Research Center shows that 81% of the Israel Jews reject the idea of a Palestinian state. Down from 32% in a survey released just weeks before the war broke out. The same research shows that only 4% of the Israel Jews think Israel went too far in the war against the Gazans.
“The poll found that 40% percent of Israelis, including half of the Jewish respondents, believe that Israel should continue to control the territory in a postwar scenario, while 18% believe it should be run by a version of the Palestinian Authority — which governs Palestinian population centers in the West Bank but which Netanyahu has shut out. Meanwhile, 14% say people who live in Gaza should decide who governs them. Nine percent of Arab Israelis, and 2% of Jewish Israelis, say Hamas should continue to rule the enclave.”[iii]
