The ISL, the RCIT section in Israel/Occupied Palestine, 12.01.2022
Prime Minister of Israel Naftali Bennett is a full-fledged Zionist. He follows Herzl’s writing: “The anti-Semites will become our most dependable friends, the anti-Semitic countries our allies. We want to emigrate as respected people.” [i]
This week we have been informed that Bennett will hold a warm talk with Hungary’s Prime Minister Orban.
“The PM speaks for the first time with the populist leader; meeting reportedly arranged with help from Foreign Minister Lapid ” [ii]
In 2017 Hungarian Jews said that “Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s billboard campaign against migration and foreign influence, using the image of U.S. financier George Soros, was a proxy for anti-Semitism.” [iii]
Orban is known for his racism. He opposes liberal democracy and has closed the gates of Hungary to refugees. Soros, an American Jewish billionaire, is known for supporting refugee’s rights.
“Orban and his party have steadily consolidated power in Hungary by weakening the country’s independent and democratic institutions — rewriting election laws to favor his Fidesz party, changing school textbooks, curbing press freedoms, overhauling the Constitution, and changing the composition of the judiciary” [iv]
In 2019 we learned that “a magazine controlled by Mr. Orban’s lawyer devoted its cover to an image depicting Andras Heisler, the leader of Hungary’s largest Jewish organization, showered with banknotes. Jewish groups across the world swiftly denounced the cover as anti-Semitic Mr. Orban refused to criticize the magazine” [v]
The Zionist Foreign Minister Lapid has in the past condemned Orban, accusing him of running an Anti-Semitic election campaign. But this was when he was in the opposition to Netanyahu’s government and at that time, he slammed Netanyahu for having Orban pay an official visit in 2018 and was taken to Yad Vashem that is a disgrace to the Jews murdered by the Nazis and its collaborators in Hungary.
Thus, while the Zionists claim that every criticism of Israel is a manifestation of Anti-Semitism the Zionist state does not have any problem in forging close relations with real Anti Semites as long, they support the repression of the Palestinians.
At the same time, the PA (Palestinian Authority) collaborates with the Zionist state against the Palestinians who oppose the Zionist repression. On Monday, soldiers of the Zionist state have arrested five students affiliated with Hamas and other Palestinian opposition factions: Ismail Barghouti, Walid Harazneh, Qassam Nakhleh, Abdel Hafez Sharabati, and Mohammed al-Khatib affiliated with Hamas and Palestinian opposition factions. On Tuesday, dozens of students of Bir Zeit demonstrated against the administration of the university accusing the administration of collaborating with the Zionist army. The students demand the replacement of the Bir Zeit University administration. The Zionist army did not detain students who belong to Fatah. The Hamas-affiliated Islamic Bloc has a strong presence on campus, and its members have won a majority of student council seats in previous elections. This has created ongoing tensions between the Hamas-affiliated students and those belonging to Fatah on campus[vi]. Since May 11 the Zionist army arrested thousands of Palestinians to penalize those who have taken part in demonstrations against settler violence. Since 1967, the Zionist forces arrested around one million Palestinians, “Around 17,000 women and girls and 50,000 children were among those detained, more than 54,000 have been in administrative detention the Commission on Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a statement.” [vii]
The so-called Palestinian security forces do not dare to enter various refugee camps like in Jenin or Balata.
In November this year clashes erupted in the Jenin refugee camp when Palestinian Authority security services attempted to enter the camp while chasing what it described as a “dangerous” and “wanted” man suspected of several shooting incidents. Incidents like this have increased in recent times in the Palestinian territories, between the PA security force and what it labels “outlaws” within the Jenin camp being at the forefront of these shooting incidents.
“Every time the Israeli army storms Jenin, located in the northern West Bank, a major confrontation breaks out with the camp youth. “This is to protect Israel, antagonize the people, kill the political situation, dry up the resistance, for the PA to play its role as a security company working for Israel,” Mahmoud, an activist in the camp, told The Media Line” [viii]
“On January 6 this year a Palestinian Bakir Mohammed Hashash was killed in an exchange of gunfire with Zionist’s troops at the entrance to the Balata refugee camp, adjacent to the West Bank city of Nablus. An Israeli military statement said that security forces came under fire.”
Thus, the heroic struggle of the Palestinians against the Zionist’s repression and the PA is continuing despite the difficulties and we of the RCIT unconditionally on the side of the resistance against the apartheid state and the collaborators
Down with the Zionist apartheid state!
Down with the PA enemy of the Palestinians!
For a Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
