Alan M. Dershowitz the infamous American Zionist lawyer who got publicity over his alleged sex with underage young girl provided to him by Jeffrey Epstein is defending Israel with the lie that: “You wouldn’t know it from the hectoring decision just rendered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against Israel, but the death toll among civilians in Gaza — even including children and women — is among the lowest in the history of comparable warfare. Over the past several months, it has become even lower” [1]
About 243,000 people have been killed in the Afghanistan/Pakistan war zone since 2001-2017 More than 70,000 of those killed have been civilians[2]. The population of Afghanistan is 40 million which means that every year the U.S killed 70,000: 16=4375 people and per month 400 at most. In four months, 26,000 people were killed in Gaza and assuming 6000 of them were fighters, this means 20,000:4=5000 civilians per month.

If we use the classified source in five years 66,081 civilians which is 13,200 civilians every 12 months and every month =1100 and in four months 4400 civilians per month.
When we divided 20,000:4=5000 civilians were murdered by Israel per month in Gaza which is higher and not lower as the liar claims.
What we can learn from the comparison is the need to put the U.S on trial for genocide and war crimes. But even if the U.S would be found guilty in the ICJ which is extremely unlikely, its orders are impossible to enforce because of the veto power of American imperialism in the UN Security Council.
