Today (Tuesday), a headline in Jerusalem reads: “Hamas admits to killing hostages, releases video of slain hostage Eden Yerushalmi”. As you know, while the Zionists claim that Hamas killed the six captives found in the last few days, Hamas says the Zionist air force killed them.
When you read the article, you find: “Netanyahu and the occupation army alone bear full responsibility for the deaths of the prisoners. They deliberately obstructed any prisoner exchange deal for their own narrow interests, and furthermore, intentionally killed dozens of prisoners through direct airstrikes,” Abu Obaida said in a message on Telegram.”[i]
So, how can JP claim that Hamas admits that it killed the six captives? “The spokesperson for Hamas’ armed al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, said on Monday that the Palestinian group had issued new instructions to guards on handling hostages if Israeli troops approach hostage-holding sites, reiterating blame on Israel for the deaths of hostages.”
Thus, it is clear that new instructions were issued that when the Zionist army was on the verge of getting captives, they would be executed. In any case, Hamas did not say that this rule was applied in the case of the six Israeli captives. But even in such a case, the blame falls on the shoulders of Netanyahu’s government. This simple truth is understood by hundreds of thousands of Israelis who blame Netanyahu for sabotaging any deal to end the war.
