The Zionists want to settle in South Lebanon

Yossi Schwartz ISL (RCIT section in Israel /occupied Palestine), 30.09.2024

There is a new movement in the Zionist state; it calls for Zionist settlements in South Lebanon as part of the promised land. It is still a tiny movement smaller than the Zionists who want to settle Gaza, but if the Zionist monster can occupy South Lebanon, it will grow. As Haaretz writes: ‘Lebanon, Part of the Promised Land’: Israel’s Messianic Right Wing Targets New Territory for Settlements

Before you dismiss the religious messianists who held a small online conference on Monday with their eyes set on reclaiming ‘God’s Promised Land,’ remember that their plans for West Bank settlement seemed equally outlandish 50 years ago.”[i]

We should remember that the Zionist state occupied south Lebanon for 18 years, and was it not for Hezbollah that threw them out, the Zionists would settle south Lebanon.

The Zionist territorial aspiration is not only the West Bank and Gaza but also Jordan, South Lebanon, and part of Egypt, especially the Sinai desert. After the occupation of the Sinai desert in the 1956 war, Ben Gurion, the PM of the Zionist state, declared that Israel had established a third kingdom. The Zionists demanded these territories already in 1919.

“An international conference held in Paris during 1919, following the conclusion of World War I. During the conference, the victorious Allied Powers, chiefly the United States, Britain, France, Italy and Japan, sought to reach an understanding with regard to the political outcomes of the war, especially the status of territories previously controlled by the defeated Central Powers. Zionist representatives to the conference presented their territorial claims, extending over Palestine and areas of the surrounding countries (Transjordan, Syria, Lebanon and Egypt)”[ii]

“On 27th February 1919, Chaim Weizmann and the Zionist Organisation presented their claim for their right to re-constitute their ancient homeland.  Their territorial claim included all the territory to the west of the Jordan River, as well as a strip of land on the east of the river where the ‘two-and-a-half tribes’ of Israel had historically dwelt.  According to Weizmann, the Jewish homeland’s eastern boundary would be immediately west of the Hejaz railway, which runs from Damascus, through Amman and down to Medina in Saudi Arabia”[iii]

The Boundaries of Palestine as demanded by the Zionists in 1919 in Paris conference:

“SCHEDULE

The boundaries of Palestine shall follow the general lines set out below:

“Starting on the North al a point on the Mediterranean Sea in the vicinity South of Sidon and following the watersheds of the foothills of the Lebanon as far as JISR EL KARAON, thence to EL BIRE following the dividing line between the two basins of tile WAD: EL Kook and the Wadi ET TEIM thence in a southerly direction following the dividing line between the Eastern and Western slopes of the HERMON, to the vicinity West of BEIT JENN, thence Eastward following the northern watersheds of the NAHR MUGHANIYE close to and west of the Hedjaz Railway

In the East a line close to and West of the Hedjaz Railway terminating in the Gulf of Akaba.

In the South a frontier to be agreed upon with the Egyptian Government.

In the West the Mediterranean Sea.

The details of the delimitations, or any necessary adjustments of detail, shall be settled by a Special Commission on which there shall be Jewish representation”[iv].

The only solution is the Arab revolution!

For Palestine, red and free from the river to the sea!
