For the military victory of Hamas against the Abu Shbab gang supported by Israel

Hamas declared three senior members of the Abu Shabab gang wanted by the organization for arrest or assassination:

The first is the head of the gang himself, Yasser Abu Shabab, who, with the help of Israel, is waging an all-out war against Hamas, including the assassination of operatives in Hamas’ military wing. The gang announced last night that it had killed six Hamas fighters.

The Hamas website, Shihab, published the names of two other senior gang operatives wanted by the organization:

1. Rasan Dahini, 38, is considered Abu Shabab’s deputy. According to Hamas, he joined the ranks of the Islamic State in 2015, was involved in the kidnapping of BBC correspondent Alan Johnson in 2007, and in the distant past served in the PA’s security services.

The website claims that he is involved in smuggling activity from the Sinai Peninsula, and that his brother Mohammed, who was a drug dealer, died in prison in the Gaza Strip. His other brother, Walid, was active  in the ranks of ISIS and was killed by Hamas.

2. Issam Khalid al-Nabahin: Born in 1991 in al-Nuseirat, in the central Gaza Strip.

The Hamas website claims that over the past decade al-Nabhani has been known to have ties to Salafist-jihadi elements. He then joined the jihadist organization Army of Islam in the Gaza Strip, and eventually joined the ranks of ISIS in Sinai and was involved in the murder of Palestinian and Egyptian security personnel and attacks against military bases, which put him on the terror lists in Egypt and the Gaza Strip.

It was also claimed that in June 2023 he was located in the Nuseirat refugee camp, and during his arrest attempt, he killed policeman Khaled Masala, before he was arrested and sentenced to death by hanging. Al-Nabahin managed to escape from prison when the war in Gaza began in October 2023. Most recently, he appeared in eastern Rafah as part of the Yasser Abu Shabab criminal gang , and served as a commander in the field, specializing in storing and smuggling humanitarian aid and selling it on the black market. He is involved in robberies and collecting protection fees from residents in eastern Rafah and Nuseirat.

The al-Nabhain family in Gaza issued an official statement disavowing him and his actions, and called on Hamas security officials to treat him as a criminal who does not represent them and does not express their principles. A report by the Shehab website also claimed that the group linked to Al-Bahin received off-road vehicles, night cameras, advanced navigation systems, encrypted communication applications, as well as continuous financial funding.

Yesterday, it was reported that senior security officials in Israel confirmed that it was the Shin Bet that initiated the contact with the Abu Shabab clan and equipped it with weapons, and that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved the plan. Abu Shabab himself was interviewed by one of the Israeli media outlets and claimed that he is connected to the PA and receives financial assistance from them.

The Abu Shabab gang is a criminal organization for all intents and purposes that must be eliminated, because Gan is the murderer of resistance activists and acts in the service of Israel against the national liberation of the Palestinian people.

The military conflict between Hamas and Abu Shabab gang brings to mind the Gaza war between Hamas and the collaborator Palestinian Authority. The victory of Hamas was a defeat for the USA and Israel who stood behind the attack on Hamas.

According to Brookings, which was formed to provide evidence-based research and analysis to US imperialism to address pressing policy issues and improve its power.

“Hamas’ swift victory in the June 2007 battle of Gaza was a stunning defeat for American interests in the Middle East. Hamas, an organization the United States has blackballed for 20 years, took control of 1.4 million Palestinians in less than a week, humiliating not only the US-backed Fateh but also the US-created coalition of Israel, Egypt and Jordan that had been training and equipping Fateh to defeat Hamas” [i]
