The Foreign Ministry attacked the Netherlands, Israel banned the entry of the mayor of Barcelona, who severed ties, and the anti-Israel wave in Europe is only increasing: Relations with Europe are getting worse: an Israeli family that spent the summer vacation in a water park in the Netherlands was attacked by a group of Dutch people of Arab origin who beat them and called them “FREE PALESTINE.” Police arrested some of the attackers, but they were released overnight. The water park said there were no cameras in the area.
In France, 150 Israeli children were refused entry to a holiday village and the site’s manager was arrested, and in Vienna, pro-Palestinians broke into the building of the Austrian Broadcasting Authority to protest coverage of the war in Gaza. The incident occurred after anti-Israelis secretly filmed videos of Israeli vacationers in another holiday village in the Netherlands earlier this week and posted them online. They called for following in the footsteps of Israeli vacationers and capturing them.
At the same time, the Ministry of Interior announced that the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Colboni, who was scheduled to land tonight, had been refused entry to Israel. The refusal came almost three months after Colboni severed ties with Israel, banned ties with government-linked companies, and severed the Twin Cities Agreement with Tel Aviv. Kolboni, who had intended to visit Yad Vashem and the Palestinian Authority, had in fact applied for an ETA (Visa-Free Entry Permit) and he was refused. The decision was made in cooperation with the ministers of interior and foreign affairs, and the head of the National Security Council.
Relations with Australia are deteriorating after Australia canceled the visas of violent nationalist MK Rotman and Israel canceled the visas of Australian diplomats.
The days when Israelis murdering Palestinians, whether soldiers or settlers, were welcomed in Europe and other countries are gone. Every additional war crime committed by Israel has a reaction from the masses.
