It seems that many understand that through bombs, American and Zionist imperialism will not be able to overthrow the Iranian regime. This claim of ours is backed up by the Washington Post: According to Haaretz, the Zionist liberal newspaper that supports the war but has not fallen into an imaginary world:
“A classified report by the US National Security Council assesses that a full-scale war is unlikely to lead to the overthrow of the regime in Iran, the Washington Post reported on Saturday. According to three sources familiar with the details, the report was completed about a week before the start of the Israeli-American offensive. It describes possible scenarios for regime change in Iran. The report estimates that in a scenario in which Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is killed, regime officials will act to replace him according to predetermined procedures, with the aim of maintaining the ayatollahs’ grip on the country.”[1]
Since the Zionists understand that by means of bombings, the assassination of senior officials and harm to civilians will not bring down the regime, Israel is bombing western Iran in order to help those treacherous Kurdish forces. These forces are a minority among the Kurds.
“Meanwhile, three sources familiar with the details told Reuters that Israel had bombed areas in western Iran to help Kurdish-Iranian militias seize territory near the border. According to the report, the militias consulted with the United States on whether and how to attack the Iranian security forces. According to the sources, thousands of militia soldiers are gathering on the Iraqi side of the border and are preparing to attack Iran within a week, but Reuters reported that they have not been able to independently verify this claim”. [2]
“Two Kurdish sources told Reuters that Israel has held talks with forces in Iraqi Kurdistan over the past year. However, an Israeli source told the news agency that they did not respond to requests for comment and Israel has not publicly commented on reports of its involvement in Kurdish attacks in Iran.” [3]
These Kurdish forces are incapable of overthrowing the regime, and therefore either Trump will be forced to send infantry or force Israel to send Zionist infantry. Israel was able to drag the US to this war and now it is possible that Trump will be able to drag Israel to send its infantry to Iran. It seems that this war is going to be a long one and in this case Trotsky’s The proletarian Military Policy is useful.
