The US and the Zionist state have suffered a defeat in the imperialist war against Iran

It is impossible not to think that Donald Trump is not only a dirty-mouthed megalomaniac who behaves like a bully, but a fool who falls into Netanyahu’s traps time and time again. For the first time, when he believed Netanyahu that it would be an easy war, that the Iranian regime would be easily overthrown, the missile system would be destroyed, and there would be a new Middle East under Trump’s control. The second time was when Trump thought that, following the two-week ceasefire, he would be able to get out of the trap he had fallen into with Netanyahu’s help. However, he supported Netanyahu claim that the ceasefire does not include Lebanon. He fell into Netanyahu’s trap for the first time because he was drunk on his success in kidnapping Venezuelan President Maduro. The New York Times discovered the reactions of his advisers. “Ridiculous,” “excessive” — that’s what Secretary of State and Acting National Security Advisor Marco Rubio, John Ratcliffe, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Kaine called the false presentation. Vice President J.D. Vance also thought it was a bad idea.

In his statement, Trump said that this was a “mutual ceasefire by both sides,” which is based on a 10-point proposal that was transferred from Iran, and that “it constitutes a basis with which we can work in negotiations.” In Iran, the clauses were published, and Trump said that in practice, the points are not the maximalist demands demanded by the Iranians. “These are very good points, and most of them have already been fully discussed,” the president said in a conversation with Sky News. “We have already achieved and exceeded all military objectives, and we are in the very advanced stages of a final and decisive agreement on long-term peace with Iran and peace in the Middle East, ” Trump announced.

These 10 points include: compensation for the destruction, recognition of Iran’s right to enrichment, and the withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the Gulf. Ships will pass through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with Iran.

But instead of accepting the ceasefire, Netanyahu ordered more extensive bombing of Lebanon, killing 254 people and wounding hundreds. Netanyahu announced that Lebanon is not participating in the ceasefire. And the stupid Trump immediately reinforced Netanyahu’s lie, since the ceasefire, according to those arguing as Pakistan, includes Lebanon.

Netanyahu, who aspires to annex southern Lebanon to the Litani River and continue the war for the rest of his life in order not to sit in jail for his corrupt deeds, did not inform the Israelis that there was a ceasefire; they learned this from Trump’s statements. Instead of announcing an 18-hour ceasefire, he declared at the end of the holiday that the war in Lebanon would continue. He used phrases such as: “We will crush the head of the snake”, “We will knock out its teeth, “We will shed its skin”, and so on. Defense Minister Yisrael Katz also did not directly address the ceasefire with Iran, but 15 hours after it began, he said: “Defense Minister Yisrael Katz.” About 15 hours after the ceasefire, he released a video in which he boasted of another attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Iranian issue was only mentioned in a casual, vague statement that included “thanks to Prime Minister Netanyahu” for “separating the arenas between Iran and Lebanon.”

Iran immediately announced that the Strait of Hormuz was being closed again, and Trump was tasked with subduing Netanyahu or being dragged into a long war that would be as destructive as in Afghanistan.

There is no doubt that this is the most difficult war experienced by Israelis since the 1948 war, who run to bomb shelters and protective rooms several times a day, and it is not clear to what extent the majority will continue to support Netanyahu’s war.

The 40 days of war were exhausting: 43 people were killed, about 7,000 were wounded, and about 6,000 were evacuated from their homes. Hundreds of apartments and vehicles were destroyed. Millions of wide-eyed citizens, terrified children, wetting at night, without a support system for the families. Businesses are collapsing, reservists are serving for hundreds of days, many are fleeing Israel, and many others are planning to leave Israel.

Contrary to the declarations of glorious victories by Trump and the Netanyahu government, none of the war’s goals have been achieved. The regime in Iran has not been overthrown, the missile system and launchers have not been destroyed, Iran’s military power continues to fight, the enriched uranium remains in Iran’s hands, Hezbollah has not been disarmed, just as Hamas has not been disarmed. Israel is in the longest war in its history. In it, although it succeeded in dragging the United States into the war, it is as defeated as the United States. The United States and Israel have had military-tactical achievements, destruction and killing, but there is a strategic-political failure There are already consequences. Europe is disconnecting from the United States and joining forces with the Gulf states. NATO is in crisis. Trump had escalated his criticism of the military alliance, calling it a “paper tiger” and suggesting the US may consider leaving after NATO member countries ignored his call for military assistance to help reopen the Hormuz water gate – the closure of which has sent global oil prices soaring

France, Britain, Germany, Italy, and Canada are warning against an Israeli ground offensive in Lebanon. The masses in the US and Europe are against the imperialist war. The isolation of the US and of the Zionist monster is extremely deep. The victory of Iran and Hezbollah is going to push the class struggle forward.

Following the midterm elections in the US, Trump is likely to be ousted. Russian and Chinese imperialisms are gaining from this war.

Russia is largely benefiting from the conflict in Iran, with estimates of up to 160 billion dollars in oil sales in 2026 due to rising oil prices. By diverting U.S. attention away from Ukraine, reducing global oil supply, and strengthening ties with China.

Two ships from Iran’s shipping line IRISL — Shabdis and Berzin left Gaolan Port in China, and it is claimed that they may be carrying chemicals that can later be used to produce rocket and missile fuel. As Marxists, we do not oppose such help for Iran.

If the United States attempts to stop this supply coming from China, it will directly involve China.

If that happens, China is likely to stop supplying rare earth minerals, which would make it difficult for the US to manufacture intercepting missiles.

And if the ships successfully reach Iran, its influence in Iran will continue.

No matter what happens, China is positioned to benefit either way.

The military victory of Iran is a victory for the international working class and the oppressed because the war of Iran was a progressive war in spite of the fact that the Iranian regime is a reactionary regime. A regime that the working class and the poor peasants of Iran have to overthrow in a struggle that begins with democratic demands and continues in the same process to socialist revolution.
