The agreement is intended to remove Hezbollah from southern Lebanon ,and weaken Iran’s position. Trump is worried about Iran which forced Trump to force Israel to stop the plan to occupy Beirut. The agreement does not include the condition that Israel leaves the occupation of South Lebanon. The Lebanese army will receive areas for trial and will have control over them as long as it works to disarm Hezbollah and expel the fighters from southern Lebanon. There is not a real chance for the Lebanese army to disarm Hezbollah.
The US State Department announced on Thursday night that following the talks held in Washington between Israel and Lebanon, the two countries had agreed to a ceasefire. On condition that Hezbollah’s firing stops and that the organization’s operatives are evacuated to the area north of Litani. It also said that Israel and Lebanon had committed to continue negotiations and would hold another round of talks in three weeks, in which they would discuss political and security issues with the aim of reaching a comprehensive agreement.
It does not say that the ceasefire agreement includes Israel leaving southern Lebanon. It is an agreement similar to the Camp David and Oslo Accords, which, despite the promise of a Palestinian state, allowed the expansion of Zionist settlements in the West Bank and made the Palestinian Authority a partner with Israel against the resistance.
The United States stressed that any agreement to end the war between Israel and Lebanon would be reached directly between the two countries, mediated by Washington. The United States also noted its intention to support the Lebanese army, with the aim of improving its capabilities and enabling the effective realization of sovereignty throughout Lebanon. Israel’s ambassador to the United States, Yehiel Leiter, said, “The bottom line is that America, Israel and Lebanon are united in their desire to keep Iran out of the equation, that’s the most important thing.”
Netanyahu, whom his good American friend called crazy, accused Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire, while forgetting to mention that the Zionist monster has once again conquered southern Lebanon, destroying the villages and bridges over the Litani and killing a large number of Lebanese civilians, including children.
