The Middle East is on fire in the wake of US imperialism’s attacks on Iran

While the United States repeatedly attacks Iran, Iran is retaliating firmly against military bases of American imperialism in the region, especially in Jordan.

This is not the first time Iran has attacked Jordan in the latest round of war. But if there were only two hits in Jordan in June, in July there were many hits.

Iranian officials have long warned that they will exact a price from countries that help the United States attack Iran and the demand to remove the American military presence from their territory. Alongside the conflict over the Strait of Hormuz and the nuclear issue, especially when the United States promises Saudi Arabia to develop nuclear energy.

Four countries specifically serve American imperialism – Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria.

Jordan has many American bases, and it allows American planes to attack Iran from Jordanian territory. In Iraq and Lebanon, the governments are waging a political and violent struggle against pro-Iranian forces. Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi, who was appointed to his post in May, has already begun to work vigorously to merge the Shiite militias into the Iraqi army, a move that his predecessor, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, began without much success. Al-Zaidi met with Trump last week, signed cooperation agreements and pledged to force armed groups that are not part of the Iraqi army to lay down their arms by Sept. 30, when U.S. forces are due to complete their withdrawal from Iraq. However, the chances of this happening are slim.

The “Framework Agreement” signed between Israel and Lebanon under American auspices; include the implementation of the “Experimental Project”. The deployment of the Lebanese army in new areas reflects the Lebanese government’s desire to dismantle Hezbollah.

President Aoun will meet with Trump at the White House tomorrow, and will ask Trump for guarantees that Israel will meet all its obligations under the framework agreement, and that the president will set a timetable for a gradual Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon. Aoun will try to convince Trump that the Lebanon issue is an integral part of the campaign against Iran, and that in this arena Lebanon can guarantee him the most important diplomatic achievement.

Aoun arrives in Washington at a time when his government is cooperating militarily and politically with his second traitor, Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara, who has become a servant of Trump. Aoun’s main task is to persuade Trump to let him handle Hezbollah’s disarmament and to do so in his own way so that Lebanon does not collapse into civil war. Al-Shara politely but firmly rejected Trump’s recommendation to hand over the handling of Hezbollah to him, saying that “he would do it better than Israel.” Trump then hinted that he intends to demand that Israel withdraw from the territories it has occupied in Syria, and Aoun will ask the crazy president to demand that Israel leave Lebanon and allow the government to advance diplomatic negotiations with Israel.

Last week, two Hezbollah representatives in the Lebanese parliament spoke of “severing relations” with the government. President Aoun is becoming a “political party that perpetuates the division among the Lebanese instead of being president and a symbol of national unity,” Hassan Fadlallah said. His colleague Ali Fayyad slammed the government, saying, “The problem with it is becoming big, very big. The bridges with it are cut off, the possibility of understanding is impossible, and the result will not be desirable.” However, they avoided a direct armed confrontation with the Lebanese army.

Remove imperialism from the region!

For the Arab revolution!
