Following the Zionist provocations in the village of Tel near Nablus, the Zionist army laid siege to the city, which was receiving medical treatment.

The IDF and the Civil Administration have not yet responded to Haaretz’s inquiry on the matter.
The director of the Red Crescent in Nablus, Amid Ahmed, told Radio Alam that yesterday morning the checkpoints were delayed and even prevented patients arriving from outside the Nablus district from reaching the city’s medical centers. Ahmed added that, among other things, the transfer of 12 dialysis patients to hospitals in Nablus had been delayed. Only after a few hours and after coordination, did the patients enter the city to receive the life-saving treatment. According to the Civil Administration, 72 first aid points have been opened in the north and south of the West Bank, so that ambulances can reach them. The Palestinian Red Crescent said it was working in coordination with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to allow crossing through checkpoints for medical and humanitarian cases.
At the same time, Physicians for Human Rights published testimonies that the ambulance system in the area was almost completely silent following the closure of most of the entrances to Nablus last night. However, checkpoints in other areas of the West Bank reopened on the night between Saturday and Sunday. According to the data provided to the organization, two women were forced to give birth in ambulances after they did not make time to get to the hospital in time. Another woman who was unable to get to the hospital gave birth at a clinic in the town of Aqraba. In another testimony, it was reported that an ambulance had evacuated a patient but was forced to turn back after he was prevented from crossing the checkpoint. The Red Crescent in Nablus told Al-Quds that in another case, an ambulance was allowed to pass through the checkpoint and transfer a woman to a hospital, but her companion was not allowed to join the birth.

The Israeli authorities should immediately ensure the safe and unhindered passage of ambulances and medical personnel, in accordance with their obligations under international humanitarian law.”
It is hard not to understand that Netanyahu’s government is pushing for Palestinian opposition to Zionist acts of terror as part of the Likud’s election campaign. Anyone who thinks that the Democrats are expressing the left lives in illusions. Haaretz’s reporter Limona reports:

In this sense, Gideon Levy is right in his article yesterday: Both the right and those who are supposed to be representatives of the left interpret reality through a prefabricated structure of Jewish victims and Palestinian aggression.
“The Democrats have failed,” Levy says. Their response, as it were, proved that there is no difference between them and the right on the core issues, and therefore they should not be voted for. Indeed, Zionist politics often manifests itself as 50 shades of the right.
