December 22,2020 The Zionist state and Morocco agreed to normalize their relationship. This agreement formalized the actual relationship that existed prior to this agreement.
Israel has become the second-largest arms supplier to Morocco, accounting for 24% of all Moroccan military imports. Since normalizing relations under the Abraham Accords in 2020, defense procurement between Rabat and Jerusalem has rapidly expanded. Israel currently ranks behind only the United States (60%) and ahead of France (10%) in providing arms to the Moroccan military.
The Zionist monster with the blessing of the U.S recognized Morocco’s oppressive rule over Western Sahara.
Western Sahara is the last African full colony that has not achieved even formal independence, and it is “Africa’s last colony”. With an estimated 600,000 inhabitants, it is the most sparsely populated territory in Africa and the second most sparsely populated territory in the world after Greenland, consisting mainly of desert flatland. The Polisario Front -the national liberation movement demands a state – SADR state to gain fully recognized independence for Western Sahara. The conflict escalated after the withdrawal of Spain from the Spanish Sahara in accordance with the Madrid Accords.
The Madrid Accords, formally the Declaration of Principles on Western Sahara, was a treaty between Spain, Morocco, and Mauritania. The agreement was signed in Madrid on November 14, 1975, six days before Spanish dictator Francisco Franco died.
The similarity between colonized Western Sahara and colonizing Spanish rule is obvious.
Tracing its origin to a Sahrawi organization known as the Movement for the Liberation of Saguia el Hamra and Wadi el Dhahab, the Polisario Front was formally constituted in 1973 with the intention of launching an armed struggle against the Spanish occupation which lasted until 1975, when the Spanish decided to allow Mauritania and Morocco to partition and occupy the territory. The Polisario Front proclaimed the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) on 27 February 1976 and waged a war to drive out the two armies. It forced Mauritania to relinquish its claim over Western Sahara in 1979 and continued its military campaign against Morocco until the 1991 ceasefire, pending the holding of a UN-backed referendum which has been consistently postponed ever since. In 2020 the Polisario Front declared the ceasefire over and resumed the armed conflict.
The Polisario Front continues to assert its commitment to the liberation struggle, engaging in localized skirmishes, artillery, and low-intensity military actions against Moroccan forces along the separation wall (“the Berm”).
Communiqués from the Polisario Front repeatedly emphasize their readiness to use all legitimate means, including armed struggle, to achieve full sovereignty for the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in opposition to Moroccan autonomy proposals.
The Sahrawis have a right to self-determination. We support its armed struggle without giving the Polisario Front any political support. The Polisario Front is outlawed in the parts of Western Sahara under Moroccan occupation, and it is illegal to raise its party flag – the Sahrawi flag.
Morocco is using all available tricks to sabotage all support for the national right of the Sahrawi people. For example, the panel discussion with Greta Thunberg at the Zurich Film Festival sold out in no time. Yet on Wednesday afternoon, only about 40 people were seated in the Corso cinema. The film crew suspects it was a deliberate act by Morocco that bought all the tickets to prevent people from hearing her.
