According to the Zionist Army, Hamas is getting stronger, will not give up its weapons, and is preparing for the resumption of fighting in the Gaza Strip, while the criminal clans that Israel hoped would replace Hamas are beaten.
The remarks were presented to senior US military officials by the army planning to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, claiming that the conditions for advancing the Trump plan are not met, and that there is no international body that will succeed in evacuating the Gaza Strip.
According to the Zionist Army, Hamas has no intention of disarming, is not willing to transfer its weapons to any international body, and is preparing for a scenario of renewed fighting in the Gaza Strip in the future. The position of the Zionist army, which has been conveyed to the political echelon, is that it will not be possible to disarm the organization through an international body, and that the only way to do so is by returning to fighting and entering areas that are not currently under Israeli control.
This is against the backdrop of pressure from the administration in Washington to move forward with the implementation of the Trump plan for the future of the Gaza Strip. The Zionist army and the Shin Bet claim that the main condition for the progress of the plan – the disarming of Hamas – is not met.
According to the Zionist army, in recent months Hamas has managed to significantly strengthen its grip on the Gaza Strip, rehabilitate quite a few of its military infrastructure, and restore its governing apparatuses. Today, the organization has 30,000 to 40,000 fighters in its ranks. Because Hamas has rehabilitated a large part of the tunnel system in areas not under the control of the Zionist army, it maintains weapons depots in areas where the Zionist monster’s army has refrained from ground maneuvers throughout the war, in part because of the fear of hostages being found there.
Hamas has also stabilized its economic apparatus, and its economic situation has improved in recent months, thanks in no small part to money transfers from outside the Gaza Strip. According to them, Iran and Turkey are among the organization’s main funding sources. Hamas needs cash to pay salaries for its operatives and members of its civilian apparatuses. According to the defense establishment, many of the funds transferred to the organization arrive in digital currencies and must be converted into cash. To this end, Hamas is exerting pressure on money changers in the Gaza Strip and obliging them, according to security sources, to transfer $100 in cash in exchange for $130 in digital value. This mechanism allows the organization to continue funding its military and governmental activities.
The Zionist army believes that Hamas is currently the dominant governing body in the Gaza Strip, and that there is no significant force on the ground capable of undermining its rule. The Palestinian criminal clans, which in the past Israel sought to rely on as an alternative to Hamas, have lost much of their power. With the increase in the volume of incoming aid to Hamas-controlled areas, the residents’ dependence on the clans has decreased.
The Monster Army says that although Israel continues to maintain ties with some clans, their importance has decreased considerably. There is also doubt about the ability to create a governmental alternative to Hamas through local elements.
Meanwhile, the coming winter is expected to worsen the humanitarian distress of the population in the Gaza Strip.
In a discussion held in recent days with representatives of the Zionist army, the Foreign Ministry, the National Security Council, and other government officials, the army representatives demanded that the government formulate an information plan and an orderly message on the matter. Israel should not wait until images of flooded tents, residents suffering from cold and shortages, and destroyed infrastructure take a central place in the international media, the Army says. However, the army’s position was not accepted. Representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the National Security Council, and other government officials rejected any assistance to the residents in the face of the effects of winter, claiming that at this stage, no international campaign has been identified that succeeds in attracting real media attention, and that proactive engagement in this regard is liable to highlight it.
Israel also refuses the U.S. demand to rehabilitate sewage treatment plants in the Gaza Strip that were damaged in the war, which could cause epidemics. These are two large sewage spills because of the bombings by Israel, which Trump is demanding that Israel drain.
Israel’s claim is that, in the absence of an effective monitoring mechanism, Hamas will take control of some of the materials and use them to rehabilitate its military infrastructure. Thus, a situation has been created in which the rehabilitation of vital civilian infrastructure, which is intended to improve the living conditions of the residents of the Gaza Strip, is met with opposition from Israel on the grounds that Hamas has become stronger. According to Zionist security sources, the dispute illustrates the contradiction at the center of Israeli policy. On the one hand, Israel must allow humanitarian conditions to improve and fulfill commitments it made to the United States. On the other hand, the defense establishment claims that any easing of the entry of materials and infrastructure could help Hamas.
Despite the fear of the expected international campaign, the Zionist army claims that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is currently better than it was.
In reality, hundreds of thousands of residents still live amid destruction, damaged infrastructure, and a lack of adequate housing and sanitation. Winter is expected to worsen conditions, and the gap between the supply figures Israel presents and the population’s living conditions could become a focus of international criticism. There is no doubt that the State of Israel will celebrate the outbreak of epidemics that will kill a significant number of Palestinians.
