A new reflection on the war with Iran

The Israelis have never experienced such a devastating impact as in the war with Iran. Only now can we examine the huge destruction caused by the Iranian missiles. During the war, the Israeli government hid this information.

Six Iranian ballistic missiles during the June 13-24 war with the Islamic Republic directly hit five Zionist military bases, according to radar data, The Telegraph reported on Sunday, and The Jerusalem Post independently confirmed. These strikes were not made public within Israel until The Telegraph, a London-based outlet, published them.

This radar data was shared with The Telegraph by US academics at Oregon State University, who specialize in using satellite radar data to detect bomb damage in war zones.

Strikes have displaced more than 9,000 people from their homes since the start of the war, according to the Israeli military. Missiles have damaged 240 residential buildings, including more than 2,000 individual apartments.

The Weizmann Institute, one of Israel’s leading scientific research institutions, is grappling with massive damage following a missile strike by Iran. In a statement to the Israeli newspaper Maariv, Alon Han, the head of the institute, described the impact of the attack as “unprecedented”, revealing that the full scope of the damage is only now coming to light.

The targeted site housed advanced research in life sciences, artificial intelligence, and molecular biology, areas that have directly supported the Israeli entity’s development of surveillance, targeting, and weapons systems used in attacks across the region

Beersheba’s Soroka Medical Center said it moved most of its patients to other hospitals following an Iranian missile strike, which caused widespread damage and injured dozens. At least 80 people were injured when a ballistic missile with a large explosive warhead slammed into the hospital’s surgical ward, destroying it and causing widespread destruction to nearby buildings, the medical center said.

The cost for Soroka Medical Center can vary significantly depending on the specific services and treatments required. For instance, a major reconstruction effort after a missile strike is estimated to cost NIS 1 billion according to Ynetnews. In addition, the cost of specific procedures like IVF can range from $5,500 to $11,500 for natural childbirth and $1,300 to $6,200 for a C-section, according to Experts Medical. The cost of equipment and supplies for trauma and intensive care units can also be substantial Following a missile strike, Soroka Hospital has a massive reconstruction plan estimated at NIS 1 billion.

Until now, we had the impression that Israel won a big victory  on the military side and did not win in the political aspect because it failed to achieve the political aims of the war. Now we are not sure that Israel won even in the military aspect, or at least not a great victory.

While there is no specific ban on Israelis leaving the country, reports indicate a recent increase in Israelis seeking to leave, particularly due to concerns about security, the economy, and the political climate. Some Israelis are leaving for good, while others are considering leaving,

The Israeli government has focused on repatriation flights to bring Israelis back home, rather than facilitating departures for those wishing to leave. While commercial flights are expected to resume once conditions allow, a government committee will determine the criteria for allowing Israelis to leave. The trend of Israelis leaving has been ongoing for several years, but the recent events have accelerated the process for some. Thousands of Israelis left on private yachts, paying a bundle of money during the war between Israel and Iran when the Zionist skies were closed. The ceasefire between Israel and Iran is likely to be broken by Netanyahu and in this case who knows what will be the outcome.
