Between a ceasefire and war and conquests

Supply of interceptor missiles and heavy aerial munitions in Israel is going down. In an attempt to meet the murdering Zionist army needs in the war, Israel’s defense industries have recently tripled the production rate of interceptor missiles and heavy aerial munitions. The rate is expected to increase up to four times in a few weeks.

At the same time, a massive airlift of transport planes from the United States continues, on which there is mainly American-made air munitions. From the beginning of the war until the end of last week, more than 200 American planes landed in Israel.

Israel is trying to eliminate Iranian industry and scientific research institutes and scientists as part of its plan to roll back Iran’s economic progress.

Iran has already announced that it will similarly strike Israeli factories, and has threatened to hit steel factories in particular. Yesterday (Sunday), several missiles were fired at the Negev, the Beersheba and Dimona areas, and about half of the launches in the past 24 hours were aimed at the Negev. Shrapnel from an Israeli interceptor missile hit the industrial zone in Ramat Hovav, causing damage to the area. In the United States and especially for megalomaniac President Donald Trump, there were expectations for a shorter and less complicated war against Iran. In the meantime, the campaign has become complicated and has developed into a war of attrition, combined with a worsening crisis in the global energy market. European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde told The Economist over the weekend that we have “a big shock ahead of us, probably beyond what we can expect at the moment.” According to her, in light of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by the Iranians, global recovery from the crisis could take years, not months. “Too much damage has already been done,” she said.

U.S. imperialism, according to media reports and research institutes, is facing logistical difficulties on its own. Since the beginning of the war, 850 Tomahawk cruise missiles have been launched into Iran, slightly more than the number launched during the second Gulf War in 2003. The number of targets that the U.S. Air Force attacks in Iran has dropped slightly to 300 to 500 per day, and cheaper, shorter-range munitions are being used. The Rus research institute reported a shortage of interceptors, and the institute’s researchers note that the shortage is evident in both Israel and the United States.

Trump vacillates between declarations that war is about to end and threats of heavy bombing if Iran does not agree to Trump’s terms for a ceasefire.

Meanwhile, not only Vice President J.D. Vance, who is known for his opposition to the war and is now in charge of negotiating with Iran, but also Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is known for his support of the war, said on Friday that the war was progressing faster than planned and that its goals could be achieved without the use of ground forces.

In the meantime, Israel is not only working to annex southern Lebanon and has expelled a million Lebanese from there, but it is also murdering journalists, since their grave crime in Israel’s eyes is reporting facts.

“The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit provided a particularly stupid mishap. Over theT weekend, the IDF assassinated, in an unusual move, the life of Ali Shuaib, a correspondent for Hezbollah’s Al-Manar network. The Israeli claim that the dead man was also an operative in the organization’s Radwan force was met with understandable skepticism on the part of the foreign media. What did the IDF do? They published an edited photo of Shuaib in a Hezbollah uniform, without informing the journalists that it was a fake. The day after the reservists’ attack on a CNN crew in the Jordan Valley,  There is no doubt that the army is doing well in its efforts to justify the war in the eyes of the foreign media.””[i]
