Today, in the Jerusalem Post, I read that the mayor of New York was charged with federal crimes. I wondered why the JP would care about the mayor of New York. After some quick research, I found the answer.
The New York mayor is a known pro-Zionist. On Facebook, ADL NY/NJ congratulates Eric Adams “for becoming the 110th mayor of New York City. We wish him the best of luck in this new role, and we look forward to working with him” [i]. He is known for defending the Zionist genocide in Gaza. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators in Manhattan confronted New York City Mayor Eric Adams this February with chants of “You have blood on your hands, Eric Adams” and “How many killed Palestinian children will it take for you to call for a ceasefire?”
“Nahla Al-Arian, 63 years old, who lost more than 200 members of her family in Gaza, was on the Columbia campus for less than an hour. She sat and listened to part of a teach-in and shared some hummus with her daughters and some students. Then she left, feeling a glimmer of hope that people — at least these students — cared about the suffering and deaths being inflicted on her family in Gaza.
A few days later, that one tweet by her husband would thrust Nahla Al-Arian into the center of a spurious narrative promoted by the mayor of New York City and major media outlets. She became the exemplar of the dangerous “outside agitator” training the students at Columbia. It was Nahla’s presence, according to Mayor Eric Adams, that was the “tipping point” in his decision to authorize the military-style raids on the campus” [ii]
But as popular wisdom says: “Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are.”
“New York City Mayor Eric Adams said on Wednesday he expected to be charged with federal crimes and declared he was innocent after the New York Times reported he had already been indicted following a long-running federal corruption investigation.
Adams, a Democrat who would become the first of the city’s 110 mayors to be criminally charged while in office, said in a video statement that if charges were filed, they would be “entirely false, based on lies.” He vowed to remain in office while fighting them” [iii]
He is a corrupt liar like his mentor, Benito Netanyahu.
