According to Israel Today, the British “Guardian” reported that 13 militiamen affiliated with Iran were killed in an attack on a military development facility in western Syria. The Syrian Center for Human Rights claims that at least 14 missiles hit various sites in the country and that Iranian experts were present at the time of the attack. The death toll rose to 25 in a series of attacks attributed to Israel in western Syria, according to a report by the British newspaper “The Guardian.”
The report, which is based on data from the open-source intelligence blog WAR MONITOR, shows that 13 members of pro-Iranian militias, including the Lebanese Hezbollah organization, were killed in the attack.
Reports in Arab media indicate that tremendous damage was caused to the facilities that were attacked, which are related to the weapons development system of the Iranian axis in Syria. It was also reported that Iranian experts were present during the attack.
Although Israel has taken quite a bit of responsibility for attacks throughout the Middle East in recent months, this time, Israel does not accept responsibility for the attack attributed to it, possibly to maintain ambiguity in a way that will allow Assad and the Iranians to remain in the space of denial and not to respond to the unusual attack attributed to Israel.
Despite this, today, Iran issued an official statement of condemnation for the wave of attacks attributed to Israel in the territory of Syria. It claimed that it was a “criminal Zionist action.” The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, Nasser Kanani, commented on the attack and said: “We strongly condemn the criminal action of the Zionist regime on the soil of Syria. We call on those who finance this entity to stop it.”
From the text of Iran, it seems that Iran will not respond to this attack and one day will attack Israel for all of the attacks on Iran and its allies. In such a war, the interest of the international working class is to side with Iran without giving it political support.
Down with the Zionist monster and all her lovers!
For Palestine, red and free from the river to the sea!
