Israel has never been Liberal democracy but a sort of democracy only for the Jews -the settler colonialists. However, Israel under Netanyahu is not even an ethnocracy.
“Over half of the Israeli public supports a potential deal with Hamas that would secure the release of all hostages in exchange for a complete end to the war and the release of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, a survey published by Israeli state broadcaster Kan News on Monday revealed.
The survey, conducted by the Kantar Institute under the direction of Dudi Hassid, showed that 56% of respondents support this kind of deal, while 22% of respondents opposed such a deal, and the remainder were undecided” [i].
On the surface, it seems that the Zionist army controls at least one third of Gaza.
According to Israel Today: “Al Sisi instead of providing weapons to the resistance “demands full disarmament of Hamas in exchange for a five-year cease-fire and immunity for senior officials. At the same time, the Israeli army is occupying neighborhood after neighborhood in Rafah, expanding its control over the northern Gaza Strip and preparing for even more intensive military activity”[ii] with the intention of annexation of large parts of Gaza” [iii]
“Egypt, which has joined the demand that Hamas fully lay down its arms, as reported by Israel Hayom, is now leading the talks. The Egyptian proposal, published on the Qatari channel Al-Arabi, puts the demand for the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip at the top, but in return offers Hamas a long-term ceasefire of at least five years. Sources involved in the negotiations report that Egypt regularly updates Israel on the various proposals and clauses, as well as on the results of the talks with Hamas leaders. The Hamas delegation that will arrive in Cairo should address mainly the demand for the surrender of weapons – a demand that, according to senior Hamas officials in recent weeks, constitutes a “red line” that they will not cross.” [iv]
“Assessment and intelligence sources in Israel believe that Hamas is trying to buy time, in part because of the hope that the internal crisis in Israel and the pressure from the demonstrations will force the government to agree to a deal that is more convenient for it. The political echelon emphasizes this position, but at the same time the assessment sources warn that the intensification of the military operation poses a real danger to the lives of the abductees.” [v]
However, Zionist soldiers continue to be killed by the resistance, and the Zionist protest against the continuation of the war is growing as more Israeli soldiers are ambushed.
“Five female Combat Intelligence Collection Corps soldiers were wounded in an ambush in the northern Gaza Strip on Saturday, in an incident that could have ended in a kidnapping, according to reserve officer’s familiar with the incident.
The attack occurred near the Beit Hanoun when a terrorist cell fired a rocket-propelled grenade at an unarmored military jeep transporting the soldiers. The vehicle overturned, and the soldiers sustained moderate to serious wounds.
“Reserve officers later criticized Division 252’s handling of the situation, noting that the area had been considered cleared. “This was a terrorist cell that emerged from a tunnel within territory the Israeli army believed to be under control,” one officer said. “The army had mapped the tunnel and planted explosives, but commanders on the ground should have assumed there were offshoots that hadn’t been identified.” [vi]
Netanyahu and his gang ignore the will of the Zionist opposition and the majority of the Zionist Jews who are helpless as their Zionist view makes them prisoners of Netanyahu.
Down with the Zionist Monster!
For Palestine, red and free from the river to the sea!
