During a news conference at the White House on Friday, Biden said Israel has put forward “a comprehensive new proposal” to end the war. The three-phase plan seeks to implement a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip that involves the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of Gaza and the release of all Israelis held captive in the strip for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
While Hamas has indicated that it is ready to accept this offer, the Zionist PM Benjamin Netanyahu insisted on the destruction of Palestinian group Hamas as part of a ceasefire plan presented by US President Joe Biden.
So, what is happening here? Did Biden lie to get more voters for his elections, or did Netanyahu react under the pressure of Ben Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich?
Biden’s belief in his maneuver is apparent as he turned to other Arab states like Saudi Arabia to pressure Israel to accept the offer. However, it is not clear why Biden does not use the US power and halt the weapons to Israel. Is it an attempt to get rid of Netanyahu as PM? In any case, the Zionist army continues its assault on Rafah in violation of the ICJ order and against the Zionist opposition led by Lapid that promised Netanyahu support if Ben Gvir and Smotrich would leave the government. Only a few days ago, Hanegbi said that the war would continue until the end of the year. A growing number of the families of the Zionist captives have realized that the Israeli army killed their relatives.
No doubt Biden offers’, without admitting it, is a victory for Hamas and the Palestinian people and another step on the road to the end of the Zionist apartheid state. At the same time we do not trust it at all.
