The Minister of Settlement and National Missions is demanding an urgent discussion at the upcoming cabinet meeting on the conduct of the military attorney’s office in the Sde Yemen case. The incident occurred approximately a month ago when the prisoner was transferred from Ofer Prison to Sde Teiman
Following the incident, after the rapists were detained, rioters arrived at the detention centers. They attempted to overrun the base and free the soldiers who were being held for assaulting the Palestinian prisoner. Members of the Knesset had also taken part in the riots, including MK Zvi Sukkot of Religious Zionism, and on the same day, far-right Otzma Yehudit announced that its MKs were on the way to Sde Teiman. Channel 12 reported that two of their journalists were attacked during the rioting.
Footage of Zionist soldiers sexually assaulting the Palestinian detainee at the Sde Teiman detention facility was broadcast on N12 on Tuesday. The footage shows Israeli soldiers covering themselves with shields, as they rape a Palestinian hostage at the Sde Teiman torture camp. The unnamed hostage was hospitalized with a torn rectum, broken ribs, ruptured bowels, and damaged lungs.
Minister Struck claims in her letter that the military attorney’s office’s conduct in the case is “tainted with crimes” and causes strategic damage to the State of Israel, both in terms of security and political-legal aspects. According to her, the government cannot ignore this conduct, in which the body under its control acts illegally and lacks authority against soldiers dedicated to Israel.
She is not the only fascist MK “The French Foreign Ministry spokesman attacked Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who said at the Katif Conference for National Responsibility in collaboration with “Israel Hayom” that “there might be a moral justification for starving two million citizens in Gaza to death to free hostages.” The ministry stated, “France is deeply shocked by the appalling remarks of the Israeli Finance Minister. The statement also noted, “France reminds Israel that it must act by the International Court of Justice’s ruling from January 26 and take all necessary steps to implement it. Providing humanitarian aid is a duty under international humanitarian law.”[i]
Yet this is the same France that, together with the Olympic Commission, defended their decision to invite the athletes representing the Zionist state and ignored all the voices of protest using the lie that the Olympic games are outside of politics.
