The majority of Israeli workers want to relocate somewhere else

Many Israelis do not view Israel as a homeland, but rather as a transit station, and they wish to emigrate to other countries, especially the United States, and also to Europe. It is difficult to estimate the number of Israelis who have acquired different passports, but it is clear that there are many.

“AllJobs’ annual survey indicates a sharp increase in the desire of Israelis to leave for abroad.

A year and eight months into the war in Gaza and after the missile attack from Iran, 73% of workers in Israel are considering relocation – an increase of 18% compared to last year. For the first time in five years, the rate of those considering leaving exceeds 70%.

The traditional reasons – professional advancement (38%), an increase in the standard of living (59%) and international experience (48%) – are reinforced by new factors: personal security (30%), political situation (24%), and disappointment with the country (24%). Liat Ben-Torah Shushan, VP of Career and Placement at AllJobs, says: “We are seeing a profound change in the perception of employees – from a situation in which relocation was a strategic choice for professional advancement, to a move that stems from an emotional, security, and financial need.”

Zionist politicians praise Netanyahu as a hero who defeated Iran, but if it is true that Israel won, why do 70% of the workers want to flee from here? Not every Israeli can get a passport from another country, and the minority who will remain in Palestine, red and free from the river to the sea, unless they committed a war crime, will get civil rights.
