Umayyad Square in Damascus was the scene of a demonstration on Friday against the Zionist military activity in Syrian territory, according to the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar. According to the report, the demonstration followed the murdering near the town of Koya on the outskirts of Daraa last Tuesday, in which seven people were murdered and 10 others were wounded. The incident took place during a confrontation between local residents and the Zionist goons in uniform forces occupying the area.
The demonstrators carried signs and shouted slogans about Syria’s sovereignty and called for an end to Israeli activity in these areas, according to reports by the Syrian News Agency (SANA).
Al-Akhbar reports that the Zionist army continues its robbery activity in southern Syria, with controlling water sources and restricting the movement of the local population, especially in the Yarmouk Valley, the Yarmouk Basin area southwest of Daraa. Al-Akhbar notes that according to local sources, Zionist representatives conveyed a message to the residents of Kafr Qoya that “the area in the part closest to the town has been declared a closed military zone” and that “all movement in the valley will be prohibited.”
The agricultural areas in the Yarmouk Valley, which belong to the village of Ma’ariyya, have been designated by the Zionist army as a “closed military zone” since Feb. 8, according to the Lebanese newspaper. According to the report, the expansion of the area limited to the agricultural lands of Kafr Qoya increases the Zionist pirates presence in the valley, which is home to the main water source in the Daraa area and the agricultural land used for the livelihood of the local residents.
Al-Akhbar quotes a Syrian source who claims that “Israeli activity in the Yarmouk Basin area may be carried out even without the deployment of permanent forces on the ground.” The source added that “the current operations may lead to the establishment of newer military posts around the villages of the area, which will enable supervision of the roads that connect the area with the rest of Syria in Daraa and Quneitra.”
Thus, the Zionist monster occupy a larger part of Syria and control the source of water as it wants to settle there Zionist settlers in the tradition of the Lebensraum. In 1919 during the so-called peace conference the Zionists represented their territorial aspiration.
The boundaries of Palestine shall follow the general lines set out below:
“Starting on the North at a point on the Mediterranean Sea in the vicinity south of Sidon and following the watersheds of the foothills of the Lebanon as far as Jisr El-Karaon thence to El-Bire, following the dividing line between the two basins of the Wadi El-Korn and the Wadi Et-Teim, thence in a southerly direction following the dividing line between the Eastern and Western slopes of the Hermon, to the vicinity west of Beit Jenn, then eastward following the northern watersheds of the Nahr Mughaniye close to and west of the Hedjaz Railway. In the east a line close to and west of the Hedjaz Railway terminates in the Gulf of Aqaba. In the south a frontier to be agreed upon with the Egyptian Government. In the west the Mediterranean Sea.
The details of the delimitations, or any necessary adjustments of detail, shall be settled by a Special Commission on which there shall be Jewish representation.” [i]
In other words, parts of Lebanon Syria, Jordan the West Bank and Gaza
Thus, the Zionist state has been acting to get these territories.
Down with the Zionist Monster and their piracy!
