The war is not over

Many thousands of Palestinians who were forced to move from north Gaza to south Gaza are trying to return to the north of the enclave. The return can be made through two different routes. The first one is on foot via a coastal road where Israeli troops are expected to withdraw. The second one is returned by vehicle or donkey cart via another route, Salah al-Din Road, and they will be subject to inspection by private security contractors, including U.S. security firms. At the moment, Israel is still stopping the return, claiming that Hamas has not fulfilled its part in the deal.

The return to the north of Gaza is a reflection of the failure of the Zionist state to cleanse the north of Gaza ethnically. Mustafa Barghouti, the general secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative and a prominent politician, told Drop Site News in an interview. : “The whole aggression on Gaza, this whole 15 months, was about one thing—the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian population of Gaza. Netanyahu did not hide their intentions; he all the time spoke about transferring Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by force, by killing them, by bombardment, to go to Egypt, to Sinai, and he failed, and the people showed great heroism in staying steadfast on their land.”[i]

Netanyahu practically destroyed four cities in the north completely—he destroyed Jabaliya, Jabalia camp, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun—but the resistance did not disappear, and people were resisting and fighting back after 15 months of destruction,” Barghouti said. “So now, [Netanyahu] is forced to allow them to get back if he wants to get his captives.” The return of forcibly displaced Palestinians to the north of Gaza, which Israel sought to depopulate entirely, “will be the ultimate defeat of the Israeli plans because it means that the whole goal of ethnic cleansing did not materialize.” [ii]

And while there is a ceasefire in Gaza, the war between the Zionist state and the Palestinians continues in the West Bank, and also against Lebanon, where Israel refuses to retreat, and in the newly occupied land in Syria.

According to Wafa, Zionist military forces continued the aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp that began on the 21st of January 2025. The Zionist bulldozers started at dawn on Wednesday to bulldoze a street and the entrance to Jenin Governmental Hospital and closed its entrances with earth mounds. They also bulldozed the surroundings of Ibn Sina Hospital. They deliberately destroyed streets in the city and around the camp. At the same time, snipers climbed the roofs of houses and residential buildings overlooking Jenin camp, all while continuing to close its entrances and prevent residents from leaving it. The director of Jenin Hospital, Wissam Bakr, told WAFA that the occupation vehicles bulldozed the main street in front of the entrance to Jenin Governmental Hospital and closed its entrances with earth mounds, making it difficult to enter and exit the hospital and preventing medical crews from reaching it.

The Zionist armed forces will remain in southern Lebanon beyond a 60-day deadline stipulated in a ceasefire deal with Hezbollah because its terms have not been fully implemented, the Zionist prime minister’s office said on Friday.

Under the agreement, brokered by the United States and France, which took effect on Nov. 27, Hezbollah weapons and fighters must be removed from areas south of the Litani River, and Israeli troops should withdraw as the Lebanese military deploys into the region, all within a 60-day timeframe, meaning by Sunday at 4 a.m.

In a statement, Netanyahu’s office said the Israeli military’s withdrawal process was “contingent on the Lebanese army deploying in southern Lebanon and fully and effectively enforcing the agreement, while Hezbollah withdraws beyond the Litani.

Since the Lebanese state has not fully enforced the ceasefire agreement, the gradual withdrawal process will continue in full coordination with the United States.”[iii]

When asked for comment, a Hezbollah official referred Reuters to a statement issued by the group on Thursday. This statement said any delay in the withdrawal would be an unacceptable breach of the agreement and put the onus on the Lebanese state to act. It said the state would have to deal with such a violation “through all means and methods guaranteed by international charters.”[iv]

Newly released satellite imagery shows Israel Defense Forces (IDF) construction taking place within the demilitarized buffer zone that separates the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights from Syria.

The image, obtained exclusively by BBC Verify, shows building work taking place more than 600m inside the Area of Separation (AoS).

Under the terms of Israel’s ceasefire agreement with Syria in 1974, the IDF is prohibited from crossing the so-called Alpha Line on the western edge of the AoS.

When contacted about the images, the IDF told the BBC its “forces are operating in southern Syria, within the buffer zone, and at strategic points, to protect the residents of northern Israel.” [v]

Down with the Zionist monster!

Israel out of Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria!

For the Arab revolution!

Out with all the imperialists in the region!
