In a battle between the Zionist soldiers of the Egoz unit, they lost six. The soldiers are frustrated and angry at the high commanders and blame them for conducting the battle unprofessionally. Some of them even said that they would not enter South Lebanon again.
The serious incident occurred on the morning of Rosh Hashanah when the soldiers entered the tangled area in the Kasbai area in southern Lebanon. According to soldiers in the unit, they entered a house in one of the villages in south Lebanon, although they did not shoot at it to make sure there were no Hezbollah fighters in it. The commanders said that the house was checked by a different method before entering, but in retrospect, as mentioned, it was not enough. In practice, Hezbollah fighters were waiting for them at the house, and a heavy exchange of fire developed on the spot. And fire was opened at the Zionists from several directions and with several types of weapons.
According to the soldiers in the unit, the evacuation of the wounded was also conducted unprofessionally. It took too long, and the forces were not optimally divided between the task of evacuating the wounded and the task of continuing the fighting. Evacuating the wounded from the area was complex and difficult, and it included fire from the air and helicopters that landed in the territory to evacuate the injured.
Thus, the Zionist soldiers are experiencing the strength of Hezbollah fighters, and we are going to see more battles like this. Not to speak of the effects of the missiles and rackets.
