“The editor of the newspaper close to Hezbollah, “Al-Akhbar”, Ibrahim Al-Amin, commented in his article this morning (Wednesday) on the wave of explosions by Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria. The newspaper already defined the action in the headline of the main cover as: “Murder without rules”.
In the title of Al-Amin’s article, the writer wondered if this was the beginning of a “war without borders”, a security operation described as “the largest in the history of the conflict”. However, he later wrote that Israel “is aware that the actual goal of the operation was not achieved – to force the resistance in Lebanon to surrender and to stop support for Gaza.”
Indeed, Hezbollah pledged this morning in an official announcement that it would continue to “support Gaza and protect Lebanon.” In the message, the terrorist organization threatened that Israel must “wait for a response to its massacre”, and this is “another account that has been opened.
Within one minute, the enemy managed to inflict the heaviest of his strikes on the body of the Islamic resistance since the beginning of the conflict – in an extraordinary security operation, in terms of the ability to reach targets and means, and to demonstrate Israeli technological and intelligence superiority. These led to the injury of more than 3,000 fighters and civilians from Hezbollah units,” he wrote Al-Amin.
The editor of “Al-Akhbar” also noted that Israel confirmed in yesterday’s operation that it “does not want to obey the rules of the struggle that prevent approaching civilians or civilian facilities – and not to distinguish between a fighter on the front and a party member who works in a distant office. It clearly says that it is tired of the war of attrition, that the resistance is waging against it and wants to change the equation.
According to him, “There is a discussion of its own dimension that has opened within the resistance body (Hezbollah) – whether to find out the truth about what happened or to check the security source of the loophole that the enemy infiltrated to carry out this massive operation.
This procedure begins with the fact that the enemy obtained security information about the shipment of the radios that exploded yesterday.
Also, the editor-in-chief of the Lebanese newspaper noted that “the anger of the people yesterday was not expressed in any rash move or reaction. The resistance will not surrender to emotions regardless of the thirst for a big reaction.” He also wrote that Israel knows very well that it pushed Hezbollah out of the square of the traditional rules of war, and “we are now facing a new situation.” [i]
