Trump’s declarations are empty and nonsense

Trump claims that with the bombing of Iran, the United States replaced the regime and now the regime is more conciliatory.

One of the two. Either Trump is lying knowingly or he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. In this case, he is probably more stupid than Bush. In any case, not only does the Iranian regime continue to exist, but the Revolutionary Guards have gained more power and cannot be characterized by compromise toward American or Zionist imperialism.

It is true that the United States and Israel murdered senior Iranian officials. But the murder of senior officials and their replacement by others does not mean regime change. The imperialists eliminated the following senior officials:

On the first day of the war, Razzalali Khamenei, who had served as Iran’s supreme leader since 1989, was killed in an Israeli attack on Tehran, in which his family was also killed. His son, Mojtaba Khamenei, survived the attack and replaced him.

Ali Reza Tangsiri, commander of the Revolutionary Guards’ navy,  was assassinated a few days ago, along with other senior officers. Tangsiri is considered responsible for the siege of the Strait of Hormuz, fought in the Iran-Iraq War from 1980 to 1988, and was appointed to his position in 2018.

Ali Larijani , secretary of the Supreme National Security Council. He was murdered in an Israeli attack in the Tehran area on March 17, in which his family members were also killed.

Mohammad Baqfor, commander of the Revolutionary Guards. Baqfour was killed on the first day of the American-Israeli attack, and was replaced by former Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi.

Ali Shamkhani, an advisor to the Supreme Leader and a senior member of Iran’s security establishment since 1980, was assassinated on the first day of the war.

Intelligence Minister Ismail Khatibwas murdered in an Israeli attack on Tehran on March 18. He has served in his position since 2021.

Minister of Defense Aziz Nasirzadeh, who participated in the Iran-Iraq War, was killed in an airstrike on the first day of the war.

Gholam Reza Soleimani, commander of the IRGC’s Basij forces,  was  murdered on March 17 in an Israeli airstrike.

Israel murdered Ismail Ahmadi, head of Basij intelligence, who is subordinate to the Revolutionary Guards,  on March 20.

Ali Muhammad Na’ini, a spokesman for the Revolutionary Guards, was also murdered in a Zionist attack on March 20.

Mohammad Shirazi, head of the Supreme Leader’s military bureau, was assassinated  on  the first day of the war.

Abd a-Rahim Mousavi, the Iranian chief of staff, was assassinated on the first day of the war.

These senior officials were immediately replaced by others, which indicates the regime’s resilience. In order for a regime to be replaced, the masses have to topple it in a revolution, or at least there are cracks in the leadership, and one wing has been replaced by a different wing ideologically and politically. Neither of these things happened, in contrast to Trump’s empty boasting. This is a multi-layered system of government, which relies on a close integration of religious, security, and political institutions. Such a structure makes it very difficult to overthrow the regime by  targeting only senior officials.

It is quite clear that Trump is looking for a way out of the war when he declares big victories, while Iran is the one who won. Not only have the declared goals of Israel and the White House not been achieved, but among the masses, Iran’s victory strengthens the class struggle.

On the situation of Trump we can learn from the firing of leading figures as scapegoats.

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hesseth fired U.S. Army Chief of Staff Randy George on Thursday. General George was appointed to the post in 2023, and he is being fired about a year before the end of his term. At the same time Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi yesterday. According to a report in The Atlantic. Trump is also considering firing FBI Director Cash Patel, Secretary of Labor Laurie Chavez de Ramer, and Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll.

George’s dismissal joins a string of recent dismissals of senior officials in the Joint Chiefs of Staff, including the commander of the navy and the deputy chief of staff of the Air Force. The Pentagon approved the dismissal but did not explain what was behind the Haseth’s decision.

In parallel with George’s dismissal, the attorney general was also fired yesterday. According to sources familiar with the matter, Bondi was fired due to the president’s “growing frustration” with her conduct, and in particular the way she handled the Epstein cases. She released some of Epstein’s documents(and with reductions).

More importantly the US may be on the verge of a recession. The probability of a recession has increased due to slowing consumer activity and shrinking places of work.  The national debt has reached 100% of GDP. Interest payments on this debt are nearly one-fifth of federal revenue.

The workforce faces a squeeze, and inflationary pressures persist, with consumers facing reduced disposable income. The war in the Middle East have spurred energy price hikes, which stifle consumer spending.

Agriculture is experiencing a downturn due to falling crop prices and trade tensions, while in  technology-driven employment workers layoffs are increasing.

Netanyahu boasted that the war would change the face of the Middle East, and he intended that all Arab countries would adopt the Abraham Accords. Indeed, the face of the Middle East is changing, and the change is in the worsening isolation of the United States and Israel. Trump, who thought that he would succeed in pulling the United States out of the decline with the mafia’s methods, managed to dig even deeper and dragged the global economy with him. NATO is in crisis, and the European Union is tightening its ties with the Gulf states and pointing a finger at Trump and Israel and his demand that they help the United States open the Strait of Hormuz by force.

The myth that Israel is a super military power has been broken, and this will have implications not only in the Middle East, but around the globe. One of them is that many middle class Israeli Jews are leaving the sinking ship.
