Jerusalem Post on December 18 very proudly gave the opinion of David Azoulai, head of the Metula Council, very large space. He used it to say: “Israel should make Gaza look like Auschwitz – sending all Gazans to refugee camps in Lebanon and flattening the whole Strip so it becomes an empty museum like Auschwitz.
Israel should be sending Palestinian Gazans fleeing the fighting to refugee camps in Lebanon, with the entire Gaza Strip being emptied and leveled and turned into a museum like the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland, Metula Council head David Azoulai told 103FM.”
“After October 7, instead of urging people to go south, we should direct them to the beaches. The Navy can transport them to the shores of Lebanon, where there are already sufficient refugee camps. Then, a security strip should be established from the sea to the Gaza border fence, completely empty, as a reminder of what was once there. It should resemble the Auschwitz concentration camp,” he said in an interview with Ben Caspit and Yinon Magal. Let it become a museum, showcasing the capabilities of the State of Israel and dissuading anyone from living in the Gaza Strip. This is what must be done to give them a visual representation.
“What occurred on October 7 was a second Holocaust. Lebanon already has refugee camps, and that’s where they should go,” Azoulai said. “We should leave Gaza desolate and destroyed to serve as a museum, demonstrating the madness of the people who lived there” [1]
The only thing that is missing in this typical position is to say something like the Israeli expert on the issue of refugees, or maybe the Israeli special expert on human rights. A man who specialized in the Israeli-Palestinians conflict and humanistic solutions.
“Yesterday Transportation Minister Miri Regev said she “understands” IDF fighters who claim they will refuse call-ups following the suspension of soldiers who recited the ‘Shema Yisrael’ prayer at a Jenin Mosque, quotes from Sunday’s cabinet meeting reported by KAN News revealed.
After footage circulated on social media of soldiers reciting the prayer and playing it through the microphone used for the Muslim call to prayer, the IDF suspended the forces involved from all operational activities” [2]
“On November 30, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), in what appears to have been a world exclusive, published a detailed report of discussions said to have taken place between US and Israeli officials about possible plans for shortening the war in Gaza.
The report indicates that these official level discussions are following up options suggested by Israel’s political and military leadership of ways to disempower Hamas. One favored approach turns to a precedent set in 1982. At that time, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) under Yasser Arafat had entrenched inside Lebanon, and then-prime minister Ariel Sharon had authorized Israeli forces to invade and advance into the country. In an attempt to dislodge the PLO, Israel was besieging the capital Beirut. The US brokered a deal with Israel under which US, French, and Italian troops entered Beirut and oversaw the departure of Arafat and t organization for a new base in Tunisia.” [3]
What the WSJ has “forgotten” to tell the readers is that in Beirut the allies of Israel murdered 2000 Palestinians while by Sharon order the Zionist army lit projectors by the refugee camps Sabra and Shatila to ease the work of the killing by the far right the Phalangists named after Franco in Spain.
The more I read or hear such views the more I am convinced that the end of Israel is a question of at most 10 years and that the Zionist colonists will run away to their countries of origin. As it happened in Algeria, if these countries will open the gates to these Israelis that no imperialist state needs them anymore.
Since the Israelis believe in the bible and its allies the Christian evangelists as well, they should read the following passages:
“But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.” Thus says the LORD: “For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they sell the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of sandals” [4]
“Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood” [5]
“When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it,42 saying, “If you had known on this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. 43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, 44 and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.” [6]
