While Israel alleged that Hamas raped women on October 7th last year and the Western imperialists and their mass media repeat this allegation it is clear that Palestinian women and girls are raped by the Zionist army in Gaza and in prisons. Israel as can be expected denied it.
“ISRAELI FORCES HAVE reportedly killed, raped, beaten and humiliated Palestinian women and girls in their custody and during combat since 7 October, according to a United Nations statement.
Today the barbaric treatment of Palestinian women has been exposed.
A panel of UN experts has expressed alarm at “credible allegations of egregious human rights violations” against Palestinian women and girls since the Hamas attack in October last year.
In a statement issued today, the group of human rights experts called for an impartial and urgent investigation into reports of Israeli troops and officers arbitrarily executing, raping and beating women and girls. Women in Israeli custody have reportedly been denied access to food, water and menstruation pads, and in one case a woman was allegedly kept in a cage outdoors.
“We are shocked by reports of the deliberate targeting and extrajudicial killing of Palestinian women and children in places where they sought refuge, or while fleeing.“Some of them were reportedly holding white pieces of cloth when they were killed by the Israeli army or affiliated forces,” the experts said.
The group of four experts who compiled today’s statement included the UN special rapporteur on violence against women and girls, the special rapporteur on Palestinian human rights and two members of the UN’s working group on discrimination against women and girls” [1]
