On Friday the racist Zionist racist and corrupted Parliament could not get 90 members to impeach Hadash MK Kasif from the Zionist so called parliament for signing the South African petition against the genocide of the Palestinians. The decision was decided by a majority of 85 who voted in favor and 11 who were against. The proposal needed 90 votes to be approved, most of the members of Yesh Atid’s Knesset were absent, and this alongside Ministers Eisenkot, and Gantz and the 85 MK that wanted to impeach him are going crazy.
An article by popular proto fascist daily Israel today says:
“Turmoil in the Knesset plenum during the debate on the impeachment of Ofer Kasif. Despite his harsh statements against Israel and the military, despite the fact that on almost every issue he stands against Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, despite joining the petition that accuses Israel of war crimes, Knesset member Ofer Kasif will continue to act on your behalf, and at your expense of course – from the Knesset, It’s infuriating, it’s outrageous, it’s a disgrace to Israeli society that such an elected official grew out of, and an overwhelming majority of Knesset members intended to remove him from the Mishkan, but then Knesset member Ahmed Tibi came. In recent weeks, the skilled member of the Knesset has been working behind the scenes to ensure that the 90 members of the Knesset who signed a document to impeach Kasif do not show up to vote against it.” [1]
“The fact that some fingers were not found today to complete the move does not indicate that the rotten goods sold as a sword have buyers. His faction also admitted this week that this is his last term, that it is difficult to see more than ten voters that he brought to the party from the Jewish sector, and that it is largely useless” [2]
“Tibi’s political skill saved Kasif, not from Haman’s love but from Mordechai’s hatred, in the full sense of the law. Tibi collected the parties’ debts to him in cash yesterday. Only a year ago he actually held the Bennet-Lapid government from the outside” [3]
“Lieberman responded to the results of the vote: “It is very unfortunate that precisely in the vote for the removal of the terrorist supporter Ofer Kasif from the Knesset, opposition chairman Yair Lapid, former Defense Minister MK Benny Gantz and former Chief of Staff MK Gadi Eisenkot decided to stand by Kasif and not alongside the IDF soldiers. In the case of the removal of Ofer Kasif, it is not a violation of freedom of expression, but rather the cessation of freedom of expression. Instead of the members of the Knesset protecting the IDF soldiers, they abandon them” [4]
“He went on to attack Lapid: “I also cannot understand the chairman of the opposition, Mr. Yair Lapid, who voted against. A member of the Knesset who talks about duties and rights, about the importance of military service and at a moment like this will not stand by the soldiers. Anyone who votes against today, or runs away from the vote, is simply abandoning the IDF soldiers” [5]
“MK Merav Ben Ari Mish Atid came out against the members of the Knesset from the coalition who claimed that those who do not vote in favor of removing Kasif are “hurting IDF soldiers”: “The dodgers coalition gives us tips – you say to me that if I vote against it. I am harming the soldiers? I visit Soldiers every week, from the beginning of the war.
Kassif took to the podium and said: “The request for impeachment that you want to base it on today is a complete lie – that I support the armed struggle of Hamas? There is no lie more repulsive than this. Behind this lie is malicious intent, political persecution and silencing. My statements against Hamas in general, and against its crimes in On October 7, they were presented to the Knesset committee in detail, and included sharp and harsh condemnation of the massacre and its perpetrators” [6]
It is not surprising to hear Kasif opposing the right of armed struggle for self -determination by the oppressed Palestinians. It is a truly counter revolutionary position by a party that brought weapons from Stalinist Czechoslovakia used by the Zionists to butcher and expel most of the Palestinians from Palestine in 1948.
“Long ago, it was settled that resistance and even armed struggle against a colonial occupation force is not just recognized under international law but specifically endorsed.
In accordance with international humanitarian law, wars of national liberation have been expressly embraced, through the adoption of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 (pdf), as a protected and essential right of occupied people everywhere” [7]
The Egyptian Stalinist party, the sister to Hadash, supported because of Islamophobia the military coup of El Sisi. In Russia the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) supported the reactionary war of Russian imperialism against the self-determination of the Ukrainians.
Military victory for the resistance!
