The Zionists claim that Iran is Antisemitic, yet the Jewish communities in Iran, like a growing number of Jews around the world, condemn the Zionist apartheid and the genocide of the Palestinians.
According to the Zionist propaganda, “The Government of Iran is also the most destructive and egregious state-sponsor of antisemitism in the world today, propagating a voluminous array of anti-Jewish propaganda, Holocaust denial, and instigating violence that specifically targets both the Jewish state as well as Jewish communities around the globe.”[i]
The Iranian regime indeed is reactionary, but Iran is not an imperialist state nor antisemitic.
Was it antisemitic? It would persecute the Jews in Iran. But despite all the attempts by the Zionists to bring the Iranian Jews to Israel, they have failed. The Iranian Jews are enemies of the Zionist apartheid state.
“Blesses the Iranian nation”: The representative of the Jews in the Ayatollah regime praises the attack on Israel. Dr. Humion Shim praised the “tremendous attack on the positions of the Zionist regime.” He also attacked Jordan for “betraying the Palestinians” and emphasized the low financial cost of the attack compared to the high cost of the Israeli defense.”[ii]
The ISL defends Iran’s response to Israel for a simple reason: Iran is not an imperialist state, and Israel is an imperialist based on settler colonialists. Netanyahu was seeking to drag the US to a war against Iran after it provoked Iran by bombing its embassy in Syria, and the US does not want such a regional war. We do not support Iran politically and want to replace this reactionary regime with a socialist revolution, but in a military clash with Israel, it is necessary to stand with Iran.
For Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
