Councilwoman Rossana Rodriguez, who represents Chicago’s 33rd district, was slammed by the Israeli consulate after she posted “Free Palestine” on X as Iran launched an attack on Israel on the Zionist apartheid state on Saturday night.
“We condemn in the strongest terms this Chicago Alderwoman’s celebration of Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel.,” the consulate shared online. “This is the same Alderwoman behind the highly controversial “ceasefire” resolution. We see a pattern – not aiming for peace but for Israel’s destruction. This is the same Alderwoman behind the highly controversial “ceasefire” resolution. The ceasefire proposal referenced by the Zionist consulates post, Ceasefire Resolution R2023-0005730 submitted by the Chicago Progressive Staffers, called for the release of Israeli hostages and also demanded the release of Palestinian prisoners arrested by Israel, describing them as “arbitrarily detained Palestinians,” according to a copy shared by CBS News.
The resolution included the note, “We cannot remain silent as we hear a groundswell of Chicagoans who reject the notion that the United States must continue to use its geopolitical position to enable a genocide” and “It is not antisemitic to want an end to the Israeli imposed Palestinian apartheid we see many of our Jewish siblings in Chicago echoing this same call.”[ii]
The truth is that the Zionist state is committing genocide in Gaza by bombing and starvation. In an attempt to expand the war to a regional war, possibly leading to WWIII, it provoked Iran by bombing Iran’s embassy in Syria. No country in the world will not retaliate when its embassy is attacked, and Iran retaliated.
Netanyahu hoped to drag the US to war against Iran. Still, Biden has faced powerful opposition to his policy of supporting Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians who refused to participate in a war against Iran. Still, the US, France, Britain, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia participated in shooting down the missiles and rockets fired by Iran.
Not only this, but the attack by Iran was a show agreed upon with Biden, according to information provided by Al Jazeera.
Thus, Netanyahu has failed in Gaza and in his attempt to open a regional war to save his position as PM rather than send him to jail. There is still a slim chance that the Zionist government will attack Iran alone, but this will be the end of the Zionist Monster. In the meantime, Israel continues to bomb Gaza.
Down with the Zionist apartheid from the river to the sea!
