The political drift in favor of the establishment of a Palestinian mini-state, which is supposed to culminate in the UN General Assembly meeting next month, is of great concern to the Zionists, especially since this move has been led for several months by Saudi Arabia, together with France, the same Saudi Arabia that is supposed to sign a normalization agreement with Israel at some point, with the encouragement of the Trump administration.
A senior diplomatic source, a spokesman for Netanyahu, says that the Israeli government, which opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state, must square the circle. In his estimation, the Saudis will not give up on Israel recognizing a Palestinian state within the 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital, as a condition for a normalization agreement with Israel.
Twelve EU countries have already recognized or announced their intention to recognize a “Palestine” state, but 15 others are still hesitant, even though they officially support the two-state solution. This hesitation stems from the direct and fierce opposition of the Trump administration and Israel, while their agreement stems from the pressure of the masses.
Senior political sources in Jerusalem say that the joint statement issued last week by 15 foreign ministers from various countries, including Canada, Australia, France, Ireland, Norway and Spain, calling for the promotion of a process of recognition of a Palestinian state, also included guidelines – which are in fact conditions that the PA, which is the official representative of the Palestinians according to the Oslo Accords, must meet. Although most of the Palestinian people see the PA as traitors and collaborators with Israel.
The conditions presented as conditions are:
1. Public condemnation of the Hamas attack on the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip on October 7. To this day, the PA refrains from condemning the attack.
2. A demand for the release of all Israeli abductees and the disarming of Hamas.
3. Cancellation of the payment of monthly salaries to the families of political prisoners.
4. Reform the PA education system in order to portray Israel in a positive light.
5. Holding general elections within a year, without Hamas participation.
6. A corps of Western countries with Arab collaborators to enforce these conditions.
7. Acceptance of the principle of the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian state on 20% of the territory of Palestine.
There is no doubt that the PA is willing to accept these conditions, but this is the reason why the majority of the Palestinian people oppose these traitors. What’s more, Israel and the United States oppose the establishment of even a mini-bentustan.
If these demands, which deny the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination in their land, are accepted, a strong guerrilla movement will develop in the West Bank and Gaza against the Western imperialist countries, including Israel, the rulers of the Arab countries that serve the imperialists, and against the Palestinian Authority.
This trap must be rejected, and all those who support it must be exposed as servants of the imperialists!
