A poll that worries the Zionists

A new poll conducted in the United States indicates a worrying trend for the scores: more than 60% of Gen Z (18-24 years old) expressed support for Hamas – despite its designation by the Trump administration as a terrorist organization – over Israel in the war in Gaza. The survey was conducted among 2,025 registered voters in the United States between August 20 and 21.

The poll, conducted by Harvard-Harris and published this week in the New York Post, shows a sharp generational gap: While young people tend to support Hamas, support for Israel grows as they get older. Among the entire American population, 74% of respondents declared that they support Israel, compared to 26% for Hamas. The data also reveal a significant political gap: 82% of Republicans support Israel, compared to 67% of Democrats.

This was not in the past, when the support of all segments of the American people was assured for Israel. The poll also examined attitudes toward the hostage deal: 58% of Americans believe that Israel should agree to the deal only on the condition that Hamas leave the Gaza Strip permanently. This comes against the backdrop of talks for a partial ceasefire, in which Hamas agreed to release more than half of the 50 abductees who remain in Gaza, including 10 alive, in exchange for a 60-day ceasefire.

Zionists defined 1,217 cases as anti-Semitism in educational institutions in the United States – an increase of 69% compared to the previous year. Of the total cases, 338 occurred in elementary schools, 519 in high schools, and 360 in institutions of higher education. As of 2025, only 18 states in the United States require education about the Jewish Holocaust as part of the public curriculum.

Another poll conducted by the Ipsos Observer Omnibus panel  on June 10, 2025, among a representative sample of 1,000 Americans, presented findings that many Americans hold extreme anti-Zionist views, including those that justify or excuse violence against Jews. who identify with Israel.

And in early July, at a special meeting of the Knesset’s Committee on Immigration, Absorption and Diaspora Affairs, the Foreign Ministry presented data showing that there was a 477% increase in incidents defined by Zionists as anti-Semitic in the United States in 2024 alone. In Europe, the number of incidents jumped sixfold. The National Student Union added:” Only about 20% of these cases are reported. In practice, the fear is much greater. “Fear causes young people to take off their kippahs, hide the Star of David, and stop speaking Hebrew.”

Predictably, the next step will be a massive boycott of Israel by the Western imperialists acting under the pressure of the masses.
