There is no doubt that Trump suffered a severe defeat in the midterm elections. The Democrats have a majority in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. The anti-Zionist Al-Sayed won the first Muslim in Michigan in the Senate. Even in Texas and Mississippi, the Democrats won.
This victory by the Democrats will limit the power of the madman in the White House. In the Senate, the Democrats won 54 seats to 42 for the Democrats. In the House of Representatives, 226 to 130. Many of the Democratic candidates who won tonight are members of the progressive camp.
The midterm elections are elections held every four years in the middle of the term of the incumbent president, and Americans elect their representatives to a variety of institutions and positions at the federal level and within the various states that make up the United States: the legislatures, governors, attorneys general, and more. Many consider these elections to be a referendum on the performance of the incumbent president, and traditionally his party tends to lose power in them. Most of the attention in the midterm elections is directed to voting for both houses of Congress – the Senate and the House of Representatives – because when the president’s party controls both, it is easier for him to advance laws and initiatives, while in a situation where the opposing party wins a majority, he becomes a “lame duck.”
Speaking to other media outlets this morning, Trump told CBS News that he “congratulated” the Democrats on their victory and that he intended to try to work with them — though in another interview with Fox News, he also hinted at the expected clashes in the next Congress, which is sworn in on Jan. 3, and promised to veto “crazy” bills that would come to his desk. “And after a few months of vetoes, they’re going to come and say, ‘How do we do things?’ and we’re going to work together,” he said. He also acknowledged that the war on Iran played a major role in the Republican defeat, but told the Wall Street Journal that he had no regrets about the war that led to a spike in gasoline prices, a major reason why so many Americans voted for the Democrats: “I did the right thing. I would do it again.”
In contrast to the policies of the Democrats during the Obama and Joe Biden eras, these results herald this time, due to mass pressure from the American people, the intensification of isolation and perhaps even sanctions on Israel. The world is closing in on the Zionist monster, whose economy is likely to collapse, which will bring its end to near.
Nevertheless, the Democratic party is a class party and a worker’s party must be built. Many on the left voted for the Democrats rather than fight for a worker’s party. They include Democratic Socialists of America (DSA): A prominent organization advocating for democratic socialism in the United States. They endorse and support Democratic candidates who align with their progressive platform.
Socialist Party USA: A political party that promotes socialist policies and often collaborates with the Democratic Party on various issues, especially at the local level.
Workers World Party: While more radical in its communist stance, this party has encouraged its members to support Democratic candidates who align with their goals on specific issues.
Communist Party USA (CPUSA): Although it has a smaller following, the CPUSA has historically endorsed Democratic candidates, particularly those who support labor rights and social justice.
Youth Democratic Socialists of America (YDSA): The youth wing of the DSA, which mobilizes younger voters to advocate for socialist policies within the Democratic Party.
Socialist Alternative: A political organization that promotes a socialist agenda and has encouraged voting for progressive Democrats who support their causes.
Debs the working-class fighter said:” The Republican and Democratic parties are alike capitalist parties — differing only in being committed to different sets of capitalist interests — they have the same principles under varying colors, are equally corrupt and are one in their subservience to capital and their hostility to labor[i]”
