Yemen’s Houthis have seized control of the strategic Red Sea city of al-Muha, and they now control the important Bab al-Mandeb Strait, which they are threatening to close completely. The Yemeni government, the Houthis’ pro-Saudi rival, confirmed on Thursday. Witnesses told AFP that they saw rebel forces enter the city chanting “Death to America, death to Israel.” This is a significant development in the civil war in Yemen, and it could greatly strengthen the Houthis, and help Iran pressure on US President Donald Trump to give in to Iran demands in order to calm the international energy market at a time that a barrel of oil costs $100. This victory reflects the decay of the U.S and another blow to the Zionist monster.
