Down with the Zionist state terror!

In response to several attacks made in Israel, most of them against civilians since the beginning of Ramadan, 8 Palestinians were killed, including 2 women and one child. The Bennett-Meretz government has increased the number of army units deployed in the West Bank and launched several attacks on the Jenin refugee camp, killing and wounding several Palestinians.

The Israeli government closed 2 checkpoints, al Jalama and Barta’a crossings to prevent Palestinians living within the Green Line from entering the people of Jenin to enter Israel pre-1967. This policy which is a form of collective punishment prevents the meeting of families living on the opposite side of the green line.

Violent attacks by Zionist settlers in the West Bank protected by the Zionist army on the Palestinians have been increased. Several Palestinians have been killed and wounded in Hebron and Bethlehem, and arbitrary arrests of dozens of Palestinians in occupied East Jerusalem and other places have taken place.

These violations continue to contribute to the deteriorating humanitarian situation across Palestine and reinforce Israel’s apartheid regime on both sides of the Green Line and against the Palestinian people as a whole,” said Al-Haq.

PM of Israel Naftali Bennett has called on the Israelis to arm themselves, and the government “grants full freedom of action to the […] security forces to defeat terrorism” which is a call to kill more Palestinians.

The armed Palestinians in Jenin and other places have been fighting against the much stronger Zionist army that uses elite units.

The Palestinian Authority of president Abbas is under tremendous pressure to end the collaboration with the Israeli army, police, and the security organizations and its failure to protect the Palestinian people from the Zionist state terror.

Many Palestinians have also renewed their call to the PA to immediately halt security coordination between the Palestinian security forces and the IDF. The Palestinian Central Council, the PLO’s second-highest decision-making body, passed a resolution in February to suspend security coordination with Israel until it recognizes a Palestinian state. The resolution, the second of its kind in the past four years, has been ignored by the PA leadership. A Palestinian political analyst said on Tuesday that the growing pressure and criticism from the Palestinian street could prompt some PA security officers to get involved in clashes with the IDF At the beginning of the Second Intifada, Palestinian policemen were involved in the armed clashes in some parts of the West Bank,” said the Ramallah-based analyst. “We also saw similar clashes in 1996 after Israel opened the Western Wall Tunnel.”

Some members of the ruling Fatah faction headed by PA President Mahmoud Abbas boasted that the Palestinian security forces were responsible for the shooting of the two Israelis at Joseph Tomb near Nablus. But this claim is disputed by most Palestinians who accuse the PA and its security forces of working to “serve the interests of the occupation.” Over the past few days, many Palestinians took to social media platforms to condemn the security coordination and to urge the PA security forces to defend Palestinians against IDF “incursions” into Palestinian cities.

“We are pinning high hopes on the honorable men in the Palestinian security services in the West Bank,” wrote activist Ahmed Abu Nasr of the Gaza Strip. “They need to free themselves from the security coordination and unite with the resistance of their people.”

“Other activists called on Muslim scholars to issue a fatwa (Islamic religious ruling) prohibiting security coordination with Israel. “Aren’t Jenin and its refugee camp under the control of the Palestinian Authority?” asked Sameeh Dawes, another activist. “Where are the thousands of [Palestinian] security men? Why aren’t they standing up to the Zionist soldiers?”

Said another activist, Ziyad Atawneh: “The Palestinian people are facing two occupations – the Zionist occupation and the occupation of the Palestinian Authority’s security coordination” [i]

Defeat the Zionist state terror!

To hell with the PA collaborators with the Zionist terror!

For a Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
