Clashes took place on the 11th day in the Alawite region in the west of Syria between local Alawis and members of the Interior Ministry of the Islamist government.

“Earlier today, several gatherings were identified in southern Syria, approaching IDF forces operating in the area. After calling on the protesters to move away, the forces responded with warning shots,” …The claim of casualties in the area is under investigation,” the IDF said” [ii]
“Quneitra, Syria – Ibrahim al-Dakheel, 55, watched in despair as an Israeli bulldozer demolished his 40-year-old home, claiming it was necessary to secure borders. He and his family live in al-Rafid, a village in the Quneitra governorate. Al-Dakheel used to sit in his front yard, enjoying the lush green fields and a flowing spring nearby. But now, he and his family are seeking refuge at his parents’ house in the village while he continues to watch Israeli forces advance. Thus, murdering Arabs is a fun game for the Zionist soldiers.
