Is Biden beginning to change his policy of fully supporting the genocide by Israel?

In light of the massive support of the American blacks, Latin American and youth for the Palestinians and against Israel, Biden who understands that his policy is leading to his failure in the coming elections is beginning to sing different tunes. According to the myth, a joke by one of the Marx brothers’ Groucho Marx was said in one of his movies: “These are my principles. If you don’t like them, well, I have others”

As a matter of fact, the joke about bourgeois politicians was older and appeared in 1878 in a New Zealand Newspaper.

The American candidate had a very good estimate of the best way to command popular support when, after having described such manufactured principles as he had got ready, said – “Them feller citizens are my principles, but if they don’t suit yer exactly, they can be altered.” [1]

“Against the background of his political predicament: a senior Biden aide expressed regret for the administration “reaction in the war in Gaza”

The New York Times publishes that in a recording that came into its possession, John Finner was heard saying these things in a closed meeting with American Arab

leaders. He also said that “he has no confidence that the Israeli government is ready to take significant steps towards the establishment of a Palestinian state.

According to the report, the words were said after months of public and private statements by the Biden administration for Israel to “take a more surgical approach” in the war against Hamas in Gaza. Last Thursday, Biden declared that Israel “exaggerated” in its response to the October 7 attack by Hamas.

John Finner, Biden’s senior aide who was heard in a recording obtained by the New York Times, expresses his regret for what he called “missteps” by the administration since the beginning of the war and pledged that the situation will improve from now on.” [2]

“The war in Gaza became part of the cascade of political problems for President Biden, who continued to support Israel throughout the fighting and resisted calls from within the Democratic Party for a ceasefire. Biden, who questioned the death toll as claimed by Hamas and called the loss of life in Gaza “the price of the war” managed to upset young, black and progressive voters.

Pro-Palestinian protesters began to appear frequently at the American president’s public appearances. Just last month, a pro-abortion rights rally in Virginia was repeatedly interrupted by the same protesters calling for a cease-fire” [3]

“No one can trust this partner to the genocide. He may even not remember that he has provided the weapons for the genocide. In a press conference that saw the president express righteous anger over the invoking of his son’s death and offer a comprehensive overlook at the conflict in the Middle East was undercut by high-profile gaffe involving a foreign leader. Toward the end of his remarks, Biden referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the leader of Mexico. The misstep threatened to undermine his entire effort, and was immediately seized on by his political opponents as further evidence Biden was unfit to serve because he is senile.”

In any case will he put an end to the transfer the military aid to Israel that has continued with the genocide in spite of the ICJ last month. Will he order not to use the veto power to block the cease fire? Or is he simply lying again?

For humanity to live, imperialism must die!

For Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
