There are rumors that Hamas is ready to join the PLO and form a joint government with the PA alongside Israel. According to this rumor Hamas demands 3 points for such a betrayal.
The three points included that, first, the war in Gaza came to an end, and a political horizon was established for a two-state solution. Second, Gaza should be rebuilt with the leadership of a technocratic government. Third, the internal Palestinian situation should be monitored, reconciliation between the Palestinian factions should take place, and Hamas should join the PLO with a broader, unified Palestinian-Arab vision.
A Qatari source conveyed to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas that Hamas has agreed to form a technocratic government in Gaza after the war, according to a Tuesday report from Sky News Arabia citing a Palestinian source in Ramallah.
We do not know whether this rumor is true but the RCIT has supported Hamas as long as it fights Israel but we never have given it political support because we are aware that bourgeois and petit bourgeois are likely to betray the masses. As revolutionary Marxists we act according to the theory and strategy of the permanent revolution. The democratic and the national liberation to really win the struggle must be led by a revolutionary party of the working class in alliance with the Fellahin that will connect the national and the democratic struggle to the socialist revolution. That is why we always say Palestine red and free from the river to the sea! A Palestinian state on 20% of Palestine alongside Israel will act as a police force for Israel and western imperialism.
