Is Trump seeking an end to the war with Iran?

Tonight, Trump’s threat to hit Iran’s power plants was supposed to be carried out, but Trump announced that there is a five-day delay because there are very good talks with Iran. There is no doubt that Trump is under great pressure because of the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which has sent oil prices up all over the world, with the exception of perhaps China, which receives Iranian oil shipments. Trump is believed to be looking for a way to end the war. But Trump, like Netanyahu, who dragged Trump into this war, is a liar and not a word of his can be believed. Iran said there were no talks and that Trump’s announcement was intended to lower oil prices and buy time.

On the other hand, Israel believes that behind Trump’s desire to lead to an end of the fighting is also the growing economic pressure. The assessment is that the campaign is indeed nearing its end – and that the road there may be through an agreement.

If Trump does get out of the war, Israel will be in a bad situation, and it will also be forced to get out of the war, and despite all the nonsense we hear, Iran won because the United States, together with Israel, with all their military might, did not succeed in subduing or breaking the regime. This will have dramatic consequences both in the Middle East and around the world. Defeat of imperialism strengthens the resistance of the masses to the class enemy.
