There was a time that anyone who dared to criticize the crimes of the Zionist state against the Palestinian would be silenced and under tremendous pressure to apologize. These days have gone with the wind. Today most Human right organizations like Amnesty International, Human rights Watch, Trade unions, Student organizations and even a government like South Africa calls for Israel to be declared an ‘apartheid state’.
“The Palestinian narrative evokes experiences of South Africa’s own history of racial segregation and oppression,” Naledi Pandor, South Africa’s minister of international relations and cooperation, said at the second meeting of the Palestinian Heads of Mission in Africa, held in the capital Pretoria” [i]
“Pandor was the first representative of the South African government to denounce the killing of Palestinian-American Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in May by Israeli forces during a raid in the West Bank. At the time of Abu Akleh’s death, she compared the violent disruption of her funeral procession by Israeli police to the cruelty of the South African apartheid military.” [ii]
The UN Human Rights Council’s Commission of Inquiry on Israel has also stated that Israel is an apartheid state. All three COI members made public statements accusing Israel of apartheid and war crimes even before the commission was formed. “Miloon Kothari, one of the COI’s three members, granted an interview to Mondoweiss in which he said the commission is “very disheartened by the social media that is controlled largely by – whether it is the Jewish lobby or specific NGOs” [iii]
It is not true of course that the Zionists own the mass media in the Western imperialist states and the reason why the Western imperialists mass media have showed bias in favor of Israel is that these medias are controlled by the big capitalist ruling class whose interest is to defend the Zionist state because it is the front line of the imperialists in the Middle East.
In the USA, the two parties of the enemy of the working class compete which party is more pro Zionist. Joe Biden in his visit to the Middle East said that he is a Zionist and you don’t have to be a Jew to be a Zionist. The situation in the EU, Australia, and Japan is not better. In Britain the more left wing in the Labor party was thrown out from the party because it was sympathetic to the Palestinians.
In his letter Yair Lapid the transitional PM has written to UN Secretary-General António Guterres demanding the US to disband the inquiry on Israel that “that is nothing less than expression of Anti-Semitism.
Excellency, I call on you today to honor your word in this egregious case, to set the record straight,” Lapid wrote. “This cannot stand. Slurs about a ‘Jewish lobby’ that acts to ‘control’ the media, are reminiscent of the darkest days of modern history” [iv]
While Miloon Kothari, one of the COI’s three members, granted an interview to Mondoweiss in which he said the commission is “very disheartened by the social media that is controlled largely by – the Jewish lobby or specific NGOs” – which is not accurate, Lapid in his letter is using this inaccuracy to fight against the accusation of Israel as an apartheid state and has committed many war crimes against Arabs (Egyptian and Lebanese) and mostly against Palestinians which is accurate. Thus, Lapid is using the mistake of the UNHCR to throw mud in order to promote a lie in the nature of the denial the Zionist crimes that began long before the Nakba of 1948 with the expulsion of most Palestinians from their homeland.
We should add that Israel is in trouble in Russia where the Jewish Agency recruits Jews for the Israeli army for the settlements in 1967 occupied West bank and brains serving the apartheid. The special delegation that Israel sent to Moscow to prevent the shuttering the Jewish Agency so far has failed. Last week, Prime Minister Yair Lapid said “that Moscow shuttering the Jewish Agency would be “a grave event, which will have consequences” on Russian-Israeli ties” [v]
While we as revolutionaries oppose imperialist sanctions that hurt the popular classes, but we do not oppose the closing of the Jewish Agency that is in the service of recruiting Jews to commit more crimes against the Palestinians.
Down with the Zionist lies!
Down with the Zionist apartheid state from the river to the sea!
For a Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
