Madani sits in the gap between two chairs and receives harsh criticism from both pro-Palestinians and Zionists

The marking of the third anniversary of October 7 in New York was accompanied by clashes, stormy demonstrations, and an unprecedented political storm over the remarks made by Mayor Zoharan Mamadani. Pro-Palestinian demonstrators accused him of “treason.” Senior members of the Democratic Party and other Zionist organizations boiled it down following a statement in which he called the Zionist army’s activity in the Gaza Strip “genocide.”

Mamadani appeared at the pro-Israel ceremony, which deteriorated into fierce confrontations and a political storm. He was greeted with chants of “traitor, traitor, traitor” from pro-Palestinian activists who disrupted the order of the event and delayed it for many minutes.

The demonstrators wore keffiyehs, waved Hamas and Hezbollah flags, and chanted “Long live Hamas,” “Death to the occupation army,” and “Leave the intifada alive.” They also demonstrated earlier in front of Manhattan’s City Hall. Several demonstrators said they voted for Mamadani last year but would not support him in the upcoming elections, because they were disappointed that he did not fire New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who describes herself as a Zionist, or prevent local synagogues from hosting events promoting land sales in the West Bank.

He opened his remarks by condemning the Hamas attack and calling it “a terrible war crime in which Hamas killed more than 1,000 people and kidnapped hundreds more,” while on the other hand, he criticized Israel and accused it of committing “genocide” in Gaza, where it killed more than 74,000 Palestinians, including more than 21,000 children

The statement provoked strong backlash from the Democratic Party as well. Zionist Congressman Dan Goldman said: “This is a day that should be focused on everything and only on what was a terrible terror attack. What the mayor’s statement did today was to place the blame on the Israelis for the attack they suffered three years ago. There is no excuse for blaming victims. ” Rabbi Amiel Hirsch, president of the Rabbinical Council of New York, that sells stolen land.

Palestinian lands described the statement as “morally distorted” and “a knife in the pain of the Jewish community in New York and America.” There is nothing to be astonished about the Zionists, no matter what war crimes of the Zionist monster they support. Jewish Zionist organizations in the city have attacked and said that the mayor’s harsh criticism of Israel is fueled and increases anti-Semitic incidents and hate crimes against local Jews. They are, of course, turning a blind eye to Israel’s war crimes that increase hostility to Zionist Jews.

These Zionist organizations that defend the war crimes of the Zionist state shut their eyes to the 30 to 40 massacres of Palestinians by the Zionist army as part of the mass expelling of the Palestinians in 1947 and 1948, (see Benni Moris account.) the mass expelling of the Palestinians in 1967, the Genocide in Gaza Strip and to the pogroms in the West Bank. The killing of Palestinians is always described by the Zionists as the killing of terrorists. • For example, the 2019 Campaign Videos, when Gantz launched his political career ahead of the 2019 Israeli elections, his campaign released a series of videos highlighting his record as the Chief of Staff during the 2014 Gaza War (Operation Protective Edge).

One of the videos highlighted military metrics from the 2014 operation, boasting that “1,634 terrorists were killed” and that parts of Gaza were returned to the “Stone Age” to restore deterrence. The video credited these actions with bringing “3.5 years of quiet” to Israel’s south.

Critics strongly condemned the video for boasting about the widespread destruction in Gaza. While Gantz’s campaign explicitly framed the death toll figure around “terrorists,” human rights organizations and the United Nations reported that the total death toll in Gaza during the 2014 massacre exceeded 2,100 Palestinians, noting that a significant majority of those casualties were civilians.

Defence of these crimes is the real reason for the sharp hate of the Zionist state and its supporters. The right wingers love Israel and hate the Jews and they use the crimes of Israel to encourage Anti Semitism.

The Zionists say that the October 7th 3 years ago was the second worst event of the Jews in recent time and claim that Hamas committed horrible crimes. The truth is that the Gazans who were murdered by the Zionist army time and again came out from Gaza under siege for so many years and attacked Zionist civilians who participated in the prevention  of the refugees from returning to their homes and land. In any uprising the oppressed civilians are killed but the ones who are responsible are the oppressors who install hate in their oppressed.

The lame duck who is a partner in the Zionist War crimes Trump posted a message on the network of the hostages – both the living and the dead, declaring: “We will never forget October 7 and we will always stand up to the forces of terror and evil.”

Fortunately, not all Jews are violent Zionists. The rabbi of the Lithuanian Chassidim, Rabbi Dov Landau, recently said, and his words were published in all Arab countries and in a large part of the world:

“One of Israel’s most influential ultra-Orthodox rabbis said Jews could have lived well under Arab rule and blamed Zionism for creating hostility towards Jews, according to footage broadcast by Israeli television this week.

Rabbi Dov Lando, the 96-year-old head of the prestigious Slabodka Yeshiva and a leading authority within Israel’s Lithuanian Haredi community, made the comments during a private discussion at his home in Bnei Brak.

The footage, broadcast by Israel’s Channel 12 on Monday, was recorded around a year and a half ago. Some of Lando’s remarks had previously been reported by Israeli media.

“I don’t know what would have happened if at the beginning there had been no state and they had established UN rule here – it would have been an excellent situation,” Lando said.

“It is possible to live well with the Arabs without a state,” he added. “It would have been quite good if the Arabs ruled here. It would have been the best situation.”

Lando also said the Zionist movement worsened relations between Jews and Arabs, saying Rabbi Dov Lando said Jews could have lived well under Arab rule and blamed Zionism for creating hostility towards Jews in newly aired footage” [i]

He knows what he is saying as the experience of the Jews in Andalusia shows and the history of Jews in Palestine before the cruel settler colonialist Zionists appeared.
