No matter how this war between the Palestinians, fighting a national liberation war, and Israel will end, Hamas already won this war. This victory in the struggle for national liberation makes it clear who is standing behind the Zionist apartheid state- the ruling classes of the imperialist states and who is on the side of the heroic fight of the oppressed – the people of the semi colonies in the Middle East and other countries.
As Trotsky explained:” I will take the most simple and obvious example. In Brazil there now reigns a semi fascist regime that every revolutionary can only view with hatred. Let us assume, however, that on the morrow England enters into a military conflict with Brazil. I ask you on whose side of the conflict will the working class be? I will answer for myself personally—in this case I will be on the side of “fascist” Brazil against “democratic” Great Britain. Why? Because in the conflict between them it will not be a question of democracy or fascism. If England should be victorious, she will put another fascist in Rio de Janeiro and will place double chains on Brazil. “Close to 2500 injured and 100 captured while so far more than 413 Palestinians killed in ongoing Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, Ministry of Health confirms.
GAZA, Sunday, October 8, 2023 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Health Sunday evening announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip for the second day has risen to 413, while 2,300 others were left with various injuries.
WAFA correspondent in Gaza said that 413 Palestinians were killed since dawn today, including 78 children and 41 women, as a result of the Israeli warplanes’ bombing of a number of homes in different areas of the Gaza Strip.
This afternoon, the Israeli warplanes committed two heinous massacres in the city of Khan Yunis in the south of the Gaza Strip, and in the town of Beit Hanoun in the north, claiming the lives of infants, women and the elderly” [2]

“In an emergency session, the United States and Israel urged strong condemnation of the Palestinian Islamists, who rule the blockaded Gaza Strip and launched a surprise assault on Saturday in fighting that has claimed more than 1,000 lives.
“There are a good number of countries that condemned the Hamas attacks. They’re obviously not all,” senior US diplomat Robert Wood told reporters after the closed-door session” [3]
It is a “world split by Middle East war: Western nations show support for Israel – while others desecrate its flag and applaud onslaught in solidarity with Hamas.
The world has been divided once again by a bloody and brutal conflict, this time in the Middle East, as Palestine and Israel descend into a fight that has claimed the lives of hundreds of civilians in just one weekend.
Nations across the world are watching violence unfold in the region, and appear to have already chosen sides in the conflict, which has so far been the bloodiest weekend in the region for 50 years.
Western countries, including the US, Germany and the UK, have shown signs of solidarity with Israel, while much of the Arab world has stood behind Palestine” [4]

“Hamas celebrations were broken up by police in Berlin on Saturday after the Palestinian militant group launched a series of attacks against Israel.
Events in support of both Israel and Palestine took place across Germany, with the NGO Samidoun, a European face for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, seen passing free baklava sweets to passersby in the capital in the aftermath of the attacks.
The group also posted “long live the resistance of the Palestinian people” on its social media channels.
Police arrested numerous people after around 40 individuals gathered in Sonnenallee, Neukoelln, a center for Berlin’s Palestinian community, where several had reportedly engaged in banned chants about Israel and Palestine. Two police officers were injured” [6]
NEW YORK (AP) — “Supporters of Israel and backers of the Palestinian cause held competing rallies in several American cities Sunday over the conflict that has killed hundreds and wounded thousands in the Middle East” [7]
“In New York City, a skirmish broke out between opposing demonstrators near the United Nations compound after a large group of Palestinian supporters rallied in Times Square. Palestinian Americans protested outside the Israeli consulates in Atlanta and Chicago. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led a Jewish community gathering to support Israel at a synagogue in San Francisco” [8]
“In Egypt while Al Sisi has urged both sides to exercise maximum restraint, Egyptians expressed solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing fighting between armed faction Hamas and Israel, as their country’s officials called for calm” [9]
“Hezbollah congratulates the resisting Palestinian people,” the Lebanese Shiite movement said in a statement, hailing Hamas and its armed wing, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, for the “large-scale, heroic operation” [10]
In the apartheid state, the Israelis feel defeated. “In ’73, the fighters felt that the state had abandoned them; In ’23, the citizens felt this way. Something in the sense of personal security has been undermined in recent years anyway. Indiscriminate killing in the streets of the cities. Kibbutzim are deleted. The ruling classes in the Arab state against the will of the popular classes call for calm rather than support Hamas. The ISA and its section in Israel “socialist struggle” are keeping silent. The IMT Published its position in which they blame Netanyahu rather than the Zionist state and society and they repeated their pro Zionist position of a federated socialist state in Palestine, i.e recognize the right of the Zionist settler colonialists to have their state (and presumably army as well).
