The Zionist left is no less racist than the Zionist right. Every movement has a left wing section, the Nazi Party also had a Nazi “left-wing” section. Democratic Chairman Yair Golan announced that his party would support the disqualification of Abu Shehadeh. “There are no discounts for Abu Shehadeh and no discounts for Ben Gvir – both should be disqualified.” Therefore, there are no discounts for the Zionist left, which chose a racist Zionist general to head it. It should also be remembered that it was the Zionist left that was primarily responsible for the Nakba in 1948. It was the Zionist left that ordered the murder of the peasants in Kafr Qasim in 1956. It was the Zionist Left that planned the occupation of the West Bank, and in 1996 it was the Zionist Left that was responsible for the Nakba of 1967. It was the Zionist Left that started the settlements after the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. It was Yair Golan who hinted that Israel was reminiscent of Nazi Germany, and now he and his party have joined those “processes” he condemned.
