The attempt by the imperialist apartheid state to torpedo the agreement between the United States and Iran failed. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thought that the attack on Dahiya in Beirut, which Trump opposed, would lead to an Iranian attack on Israel and a resumption of hostilities, with the support of the United States, but his plan failed. His and his government’s fiasco – and the possibility that Israel in the next military adventure is not at all certain that Israel will be able to rely on the United States – did not make them aware of Israel’s situation in the entire world
The same blindness is now repeating itself in relation to Lebanon. Murder Minister Yisrael Katz was quick to declare that the Israeli presence in Lebanon would continue “indefinitely,” stressing that “we oppose the IDF’s withdrawal from Lebanon.” National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir also joined the dangerous demonstrations and declared that “Trump’s agreement is not binding.” and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that “the agreement with Iran is bad for Israel and the entire free world… In Lebanon, we will be tested. This is our war…”
Similar to Israel’s policy toward the Palestinian Authority, which cooperates against opponents of the occupation and oppression, Israel weakens the Lebanese government, which is willing to help the Zionist monster attack Hezbollah.
Instead of responding to the Lebanese government, which is willing to participate to weaken Hezbollah, Israel prefers to continue fighting, weakening the Lebanese government, and in effect strengthening Hezbollah’s status. Netanyahu’s insistence on remaining in southern Lebanon, while conducting forced and bizarre negotiations through ambassadors without authority, is one of the main reasons that expose the betrayal of the Lebanese government, which is willing to turn Lebanon into an American-Zionist colony.
