The settlers, who are backed by the Netanyahu government, and especially by Pogrom Minister Katz, continue the siege of the village of Qusra, this time the Zionist army does not participate with the settlers but pretends to evacuate them by force, and in the meantime a large number of settlers are pouring into the village as reinforcements for the settlers besieging the village. The settlers’ actions are part of Netanyahu’s election campaign that seeks to create a situation that postpones elections and part of the annexation plans
ACCORDING TO A REPORT BY YNET:
“Security forces arrived this morning (Wednesday) at the tent set up by extremist Jews in the area of the village of Qusra in Samaria, through which they are laying siege to Palestinian homes. The IDF Spokesperson said that the “shed” had been evacuated, but in the meantime more extremists had arrived in the area and began blocking the access roads there with heavy rocks. The head of the Central Command, Avi Balut, also arrived at the scene. IDF and Border Police forces are trying to evacuate them, and clashes have been recorded there.
The head of the Qusra council, Abd al-Azim Wadi, told Ynet that “a large number of settlers are coming to the area” and that there is chaos in the area. He said that the security forces had not yet been able to control the incident, while the residents were still under siege. Wadi added that the villagers were concerned because they could not reach the besieged residents and did not want to enter a confrontation with the settlers. This is a “very problematic” situation.[i]
Netanyahu, who understands that Israel has lost American public opinion and the support of the White House, has turned to the creation of a new front and is pushing for a new intifada. This is the urgent time to establish an elected defense committee in every village, refugee camp and district in every city, from which to establish a dedicated leadership
