The support of Germany for the genocide of the Palestinians

Germany has replaced the hate for the Jews with support for the genocide of the Palestinians. On Sunday, Frank Walter Steinmeier, a leading member of the counter revolutionary the SPD and the president of the Federal Republic of Germany, in the course of a solidarity visit to Israel, in the midst of the genocide of the Gazans expressed the hate of German ruling class toward the Palestinian’s struggle for national liberation.

In his visit to Israel, he said that Hamas is fighting not only against Israel but the entire Middle- East. At the end of last week, prior to leaving Germany, Steinmeier said: “A visit to Israel now? Yes, especially now! I am traveling to assure Israel of our continued solidarity – solidarity not only with Israel as the victim of terror, but also with Israel as a country that is defending itself.”

“Hamas continues to pose a deadly threat to Israel. At the same time, the war that Israel is now waging must not thwart any chance of an understanding in the future. It must not give rise to a new desperate generation. He repeated the cynical mantra that has allowed Israel to steal more Palestinian land:

The only answer is a policy based on two principles: more security for Israel and more prospects for a brighter future for Palestinians. And if, in the end, there should be a stable state of peace, this can only mean one thing: two states. The Palestinians must be able to exercise their right to political self-determination and to live in dignity, freedom, and peace with their neighbors” [1]

Germany on September 28 signed a deal to acquire the Israeli-made sophisticated Arrow 3 hypersonic missile system. The purchase was locked for about $4.2 billion, sealing the biggest military export deal in Israeli history

The purchase will be financed from a 100-billion-euro special military fund that the German government agreed on last year.

The SPD crossed the Rubicon in August 1914 when it supported German imperialism in WWI. In 1918-1920 it crushed the working-class revolution and later on was responsible for the murder of Rosa Luxemburg and Karal Liebknecht by the fascist Freikorps troops. The SPD failed to fight the Nazis and let them attack their meetings. On 19 May 1933, the few SPD deputies who had not been jailed or fled into exile voted in favor of Hitler’s foreign policy. They also publicly denounced the SPD leaders in exile abroad who condemned Hitler’s tactics as traitors.

The politics of the SPD are not substantially different from the far right in Holland. “Jordan is Palestine” — that is what Geert Wilders, Dutch parliamentarian and chairman of the Party for Freedom (PVV), the Netherlands’ largest political party, said.

Down with American, and European imperialism!

Free Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
