Activists of the “Freedom Flotilla to Gaza” organization said that a drone fired a missile at a vessel used to transport humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. According to the group, it made a hole in the hull of the ship, but none of the 30 activists on board were injured
Gaza’s Freedom Flotilla said on Friday that one of its vessels caught fire and issued an emergency call after what was a drone attack off the coast of Malta in international waters. The Zionist monster refused to comment on the fact that Israel was behind the attack.
The Gaza Freedom Flotilla said that one of its vessels caught fire and issued a distress call after the drone attack off the coast of Malta in international waters. The Freedom Flotilla coalition, which is campaigning to end Israel’s blockade of Gaza, told CNN that 30 people were aboard its humanitarian aid ship when the attack took place shortly after midnight local time on Friday.
It is unclear at this time what happened to the vessel. The organization released a video in the morning that called for help for the ship. The organization said that Malta refused to send a boat to help the damaged vessel and that a ship from Cyprus was unable to help restore the vessel’s electrical system.
The organization said the ship had “sent SOS calls to surrounding countries, including Malta” and that a “small boat” had been sent from southern Cyprus. They added that they were able to contact crew members after the SOS signal was sent.
