The headquarters of the families of the Israeli prisoners of war in Gaza, strongly reacts to the possible appointment of Gideon Sa’ar to the position of Minister of war to replace Galant. “Saar previously called for a deal for the return of abductees ‘conditions of surrender’ and opposed the outline proposed by President Biden. This is the signing of a death sentence for the abductees and the abandonment of all of them in captivity” [i]
It also seems that Netanyahu has decided to conquer the south of Lebanon:
“Government circles in Lebanon said this morning (Monday) to the “Al-Arabi Al-Jadid” newspaper: “We are watching with concern an escalation in recent times after a relative decrease that was registered following Hezbollah’s response to the assassination of Fouad Shukar, and especially when the Israeli army increases the rate of attacks in the south or in the Bekaa “[ii]
“The cross-border violence between the IDF and Hezbollah in the North of the country “cannot continue,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said ahead of a meeting with US special envoy Amos Hochstein on Monday.
What is needed, Netanyahu said at the weekly government meeting, is “a change in the balance of forces on our northern border.” He also pledged to restore safety to that area so that the more than 60,000 residents of the border communities evacuated in October can return home” [iii]
From our point of view, it does not matter who is the Zionist Minister of war. Galant and Sa’ar are enemies. Therefore, if the Zionist monster will try to occupy south Lebanon the interest of the international working class is to see the smashing of the Zionist state. We still remember how the Zionist army escaped Lebanon with their tail between their legs in 2000.
Revolutionary defeat for the Zionist monster.!
For Palestine red and free from the river to the sea!
